Heard Poet Cameron Semmens talk on the weekend about 'Routine Acts of Kindness'.

He was reflecting that while Random Acts of Kindness have potential to make a difference it's when you make Kindness a part of your Routine that it is most powerful at affecting change.

Very important message. Reminds me of the quote by the Dalai Lama:

"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion."

I try to do both, so just be more compassionate overall and do what I can to help others. I love to plan bigger things too, like service projects/working bees at someones home when they have been ill etc.

Love that quote from the Dalai Lama, Ramsay Taplin

Make kindness a part of our Routine .. Which is the key ...

And to do it because it is the right thing to do, NOT for reward or personal gain... THAT's the mission! Nice!
