Sandstorm
The winds were gusting up to 50mph. After this particular round with flying sand, this fox decided he had had enough of following the crazy human through the sand tornado and took shelter in the dunes.
I have some "catch-up" to play as I shared a few from last Monday's trip to the NJ shore over on FB.

Last week was about being aware of your surroundings. The things we see everyday are often quite interesting, we just don't always notice them. The assignment was all about really paying attention to the things around you. The small things you never noticed, like faces hiding in the woodgrain pattern of your fence, or the big things you just pass by on your way to work that you have relegated to the back of your mind.
We were told to take tons of photos and choose the ten best, no editing was allowed, so these are straight out of the camera. If you have time, click on the information about each photo, and find out if you see what I did, or if my descriptions can make you see what I did.
It was an interesting ride, because I rarely photograph anything without a bit of travel, even if only to a local park. I still got many of these on one of my local adventures, but some were even shot gasp in my home. Just because you have seen something 100 times, don't assume it hold nothing new, sometimes you just need to look more closely.

One of my favorites from today's trip to the Jersey shore, and the last for this particularly productive #foxesonfriday .
It actually got so windy around sunset, I had to take shelter in my car- sand everywhere! This was one of the last photos I took.
