Slacking this year... too many vacations. But then again, that's not a bad excuse for the lower accumulation. :)

Still a few to go to hit 100. The bike is in serious need of TLC. BB, cassette, chain, chainring, rear shifter cable, brake cable housing, spoke nipples on rear wheel(???!!!), and shifter covers all need replaced. Replacing the components is still much cheaper than a new bike but requires a little more effort on my part.

If anyone finds that their PA (Pulse Audio) volume increments are a little coarse, edit the following (edited):

kdesudo kate /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.volume/contents/ui/ListItemBase.qml &

Change the slider.maximumValue from 15 to 50 as shown below:

function increaseVolume() {
var step = slider.maximumValue / 50;

function decreaseVolume() {
var step = slider.maximumValue / 50;

Then restart plasmashell:

killall plasmashell && plasmashell &

The adventure continues: maiden voyage with the new frame. Note the upside-down shot of the old frame, it was also cracked on the right side of the bottom bracket and was very flimsy ...probably should not have ridden the last 8 miles with left side totally broken.... I finally figured out where to put the collar in my BB (on the inside). During the transfer, I found many components will need replaced in the near future.... BB, drive train, brake pads, cable housing, I am not resetting the odometer. :)

Bit of advice, if you have lot of miles on your bike and it feels a little wobbly, do not automatically attribute it to shaky pannier or unstable rack, check the frame. :)

Apparently frames are only good for about 50.5K....
