Happy New Year!
One of my favorite things to do at the start of a new month is to wipe clean our family’s dry-erase calendar board and fill in the next month. I have clearly established myself as old school in this space, and my calendar system is no less so. Yes, I have a Smartphone, an Outlook ...

My mother-in-law did it again – gave my four- and five-year-olds each a card with $20 in it as a Christmas gift. Is there a way to tell her that this means nothing to them and a small present would be so much more meaningful? I’d love for them all to have a more personal relationship and cash, at...

This news site seems to be a fraud. It seems to create fake news that targets people's names with false information about them. In my case it seems they have targeted my name on their site to say that I am dead and crazy. When I call the number to speak with the person that claims I am dead there is no answer and it does not sound like a real business phone. Please remove this real type of fake news!

Best local newspaper in town. Real reporters who know how to write and dig. They often win statewide awards for their investigative journalism. Widely read, the paper does a great job covering local politics, the schools and sports. Though only a weekly, the paper regularly breaks stories by email and Twitter. Their parent company, Hersam Acorn, has even got into Internet Radio. Full disclosure: I have been an unpaid columnist for this paper for 7+ years... but it's still a must-read in my house.
