I recorded some feelings I had about the Numenera 2 Kickstarter coming up in, oh, a few hours, and what this community has meant to me.

I also parody a whole poem. That is how I channel weird feeling energy into not just being a bottled-up nor actively crying mess :-)

Oooh, three things I love: the amazing Brie Sheldon interviewing Robin Laws about his new GUMSHOE-powered game, The King in Yellow!

Oooh, don't miss Bruce Cordell tomorrow on Twitch at noon PT! Bring him your questions on the Strange, Gods of the Fall, and Numenera (especially about his super cool upcoming supplement, Jade Colossus, that has this elegant Ruin Mapping Engine to keep the weird high in your Numenera explorations).
I'll be live tomorrow, if you wanna ask me about the Mouth of Exaltation, how to seed a limited world into the dark energy network of the Strange, or what the heck a golden cachinnate is.

Sailing to far off places and underwater treasure-hunting, singing sword fights, magic sensate/memory stones (a la Planescape), a magical creature in human disguise, and RESISTING MONOCULTURE AND FASCISTS.

What's not to love about the adventure +Rebekah McFarland and I have written? This Kickstarter has 11 days to go and we'd love to see it funded - it has a diverse crew of writers who are writing 11 different adventures in a collection called Tales of the Warrior Princesses.

TotWP is a book of adventures for D&D 5th Edition, with pregenerated characters ("Warrior Princesses") that are reminiscent of classic and modern fairy tale princesses that are D&D-ified and badass in all sorts of ways. Pulling from these familiar stories and characters makes the game pretty easily accessible, and the world is a lovely playground of different fairytale settings with their characteristic Big Bads wreaking havoc across the world. The Kickstarter is also funding an expanded book version of the setting material, which had previously been depicted through a deck of cards. It's REALLY fun and cool stuff.

+John Carimando is so supportive of everything Rebekah and I proposed, and is really filling in the gaps of our design experience without being the least bit patronizing. This is a big step for me, and imposter syndrome is a bitch, but if you have interest, it would be the best golden birthday present to see this project get some support.

(I waited a long time to promote this because I was sick and my draft wasn't coming along as fast as I'd like and I wasn't sure it was up to snuff, but John okayed it, so now I'm happy to talk about it!)
