If I'm going to spend time watching videos, I'd like to improve the quality of what I watch.

For example, this documentary is an excellent educational video on the history of iron. Do folks have other suggested channels that they watch to learn new things?

Visited Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge this afternoon. Very cool place. I'd definitely like to go again and walk along the shore next time.

A fairly windy sunset along the Baylands.

Yikes. I was just about to renew my car insurance off of my provider's web site. I noticed just in time that the site was a plain http web site, accepting credit card addresses. :(

The insurance provider did have a https version of their site as well. It just turns out that they didn't do the standard thing in redirecting http to https.

I sent a message to the insurance provider's webmaster warning them about the problem, and hopefully they'll do the right thing.
