CEN Biotech case is not a matter for Health Canada to respond to directly. This goes into breaking the rules of being a publicly traded company.

Chaaban's comparison of an imaginary PR representative to a brand icon such as "Mr. Clean" is ridiculous

Correct course of events: Ontario Securities Commission investigation followed Then by reconsideration by Health Canada
Latest revelation about CEN Biotech raises questions about Health Canada’s oversight of this new sector – expected to grow into a multibillion-dollar industry

The one thing about +MailChimp's #UserExperience  that's a little broken is the connection between users and accounts. Whereas I appreciate that this functionality exists, there's a little bit of a grey area where a user can exist, but not be attached to any accounts, and therefore just be floating in the ether. Trying to login to a user that has just deleted its last account prompts a request to create a new account, which then redirects back to the login screen, and infinite loop.

Potential solution: after that request to create a new account, redirect the user to the same screen they land on after clicking through on the initial email confirmation (i.e. where an account is essentially setup)

Well written article that strengthens my argument against the use of statistics in journalism. Something many of us (including myself) are guilty of: don't use science to prove a point unless you're certain that you understand said science

Before declaring that declining iPad sales mean the product is dying, Wall Street should read a little more into one of Jony Ive's biggest inspirations, Dieter Rams.

An excellent response to +Maclean's Magazine's sensationalist journalism from David Wheeler in the form of an interview

Is racism a problem in #Winnipeg ? Yes

More importantly though, was the issue distorted in the name of getting a shocking cover story that might sell a few extra magazines? Absolutely

My advice: rethink your Sales team.

What role are they really fulfilling within your organization?
I’ve never liked the concept of a “sales-driven organization”. When someone describes a company as being sales-driven, I…

Sounds familiar Danny. I like the way you are rethinking this :)

The biggest problem with +Macleans Magazine's article is that it takes something that is a national issue and turns it into #Winnipeg 's.

This was an opportunity to position an issue that is all of ours and bring it to the forefront, but instead now it's easy to say "wow I'm glad I don't live there" and forget about it.

Good on +Brian Bowman for immediately answering for what is a nation's failing, not just his city's.

Shame on those in federal government who have let us down by choosing to ignore one of the most poignant problems facing our country.
How the death of Tina Fontaine has finally forced it to face its festering race problem.

I wasn't going to share this, until I read the phrase "cache rules everything around me"

Outside of the humourous aspect, it's actually a fantastic rundown (for laypeople) of how scaling up for an impending traffic spike works in the context of #AWS , and relates closely to the way we prep for big promotions at +Strutta  #devops

Just had our fridge fixed by City Wide. Overall, great experience. Only downside: tried to book using their online registration system, received a confirmation that my registration was received but they never got it on their end. Followed up with a call a few days later, got an appointment booked for the next business day. Serviceman who came over was polite and informative, got the problem fixed in a timely manner and for a good price. Would recommend/use again
