10 Steps to Creating a Toxin Free Home

When I first became a mother I started to think long and hard about the chemicals we bring into our homes. And the number surprised me.

Shortly after this realization I began creating a toxin free home in the hopes that my kids wouldn’t be exposed to the majority of the 80,000 synthetic chemicals introduced into the market since 1976.

If you're looking to create a toxin free home, take a look at these tips I've shared and consider helping Seventh Generation reach its goal of collecting 100,000 Signatures by April 24th by signing the petition for chemical reform and urging your friends and family to do the same!

The Ultimate Girls Night Out

I celebrated my 30th birthday last month with the ultimate girls night out. Bought a pretty dress, put on some +COVERGIRL make up, did my nails, had someone else do my hair, and was chauffeured to an amazing restaurant with fabulous friends.

Maybe I should do this for every birthday after 30?

When my kids were little, I LOVED Ergo. I tried several carriers and it's the only one that didn't cause a lot of back, neck and shoulder pain.

It's so fun! And quite an experience. This is the first year I've used seed starters as well and it's great for my kids to experience. Plus, other friends have done the same thing so we can swap with one another to get more variety.
