This place is amazing. A clean, new salon. Friendly, attentive, caring service. Great Location - close to the myriad of subways, NYU, West Village, and ATMs when you forget cash to tip. Olga was a gem!

My advice: DO NOT STAY HERE. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Bottom line of this review: Try other significantly better mid-range hotels in the area, including Sheraton, Warwick, or Hotel Penn. I've stayed at over 20 hotels in the past year... this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my whole life. Stayed here February 2012 on a Friday and Saturday night. Service: At the check-in, 10 people working behind the desk, yet it took nearly 20 minutes to check in? The girl who helped me check in was rude, not helpful. Called for a room upgrade two weeks in advance, hotel staff told me would be no problem on the date of check-in. The joyous girl behind the desk told me incessantly "We have no upgrades available for the next three days at least." "Sorry ma'am. We have nothing available. You can spend $40 a NIGHT for a king bed on the 5th floor. That's it." So bad. Worst customer service at a hotel. Room: The "upgrade" to a king bed room for $160 a night was so tiny, even with the king bed upgrade. Even for NYC standards -- SMALL. Gross. Smelly. The bedspread was filthy, old (like from the 90's), ugly, had cigarette holes. The room was constantly hot and sweaty (we had the window open in February the whole weekend) and we didn't have any temperature control. Bed was cheap and uncomfortable. We had to ask for a cot since they didn't have rooms with two beds, so they rolled in a mattress on a wood board. Even the towels were dirty. Just so gross. A view? Yea right. A window with a view of the other side of the hotel and a disgusting courtyard... or concrete ground. At night, the heat would rattle so loud, it sounded like someone was banging on steel pans in our room. We heard screaming from outside our room through the night. The hotel said they had late night security guards. When we came back on Saturday night, a sign said "Show your ID and hotel room key to the security guard" ... the guard was sitting inside on a bench on his cellphone, watched us walk by. He was the only employee in the lobby. WiFi? No, a dial-in connection in your room for $5 an hour. Umm, what?!! Ice? Call down to the front desk for that. Wait 20 minutes. A baby bucket of ice shows up at your door. Straight bad. Stay somewhere else. Room Tip: Don't stay here. If you do, don't stay on the 5th floor or in the new wing. Disgusting.

Cheap, cheap, cheap and DELICIOUS! Try the spicy wings... it's been awhile since I've had a real one.. but I'm convinced these are 100 times better than the real thing!! Service was outstanding.
