The Solar System

All the efforts were made to ensure that the Moon orbits the Earth in 28 days and the the latter orbits the the Sun in 365 days.

Accordingly, the relative orbital speeds of other planets have been set. It may not be perfect, but good enough to get a clear picture of the movements of the celestial giants.

This is a useful Mnemonic to remember the planets in order:

Neurogrid, a circuit board modelled on the human brain, can simulate one million neurons and billions of synapses and is around 9,000 times faster than a typical computer. Technology like this will form the basis of the EU’s Human Brain Project, which aims to simulate the human brain using a supercomputer. However, the actual brain has 80,000 times more connections than Neurogrid, and consumes only three times as much power.

Kwabena Boahen, associate professor of bioengineering at Stanford, said:
“The human brain, with 80,000 times more neurons than Neurogrid, consumes only three times as much power. Achieving this level of energy efficiency while offering greater configurability and scale is the ultimate challenge."
