Add this to the list of things I want in my house...

Jasper: open-source voice computing with Raspberry Pi. All you need is a microphone, a speaker and a Pi; this is an impressively well documented platform, and we reckon we'll see people building some interesting new functionality.

They should teach this in schools. Life application, right there.

Let's talk about shrinkage. Bacon shrinkage, that is. Here's the real bacon shrinkage tip you need to know: Cook it in the oven.
Bacon is delicious, and keeping it from shrinking when cooking is a popular topic. Instructables user craftclarity wanted a more scientific, rigorous approach to keeping bacon from shrinking, so he put a number of popular tricks to the test. Which was the best? The good old oven.

I'm really happy to hear that "Like a monkey with a grenade" is a common Russian idiom. Because they're nailing it.

Pardon a fanboy freak-out, but the Android Wear is exactly what I want. Oh, I'm so excited...

The future of Android wearable tech is here! Our friends over at Gizmodo have a great introduction to Android Wear at the link below. What do you think? Interested in wearable tech if it's powered by Android?
Google just announced a new project called Android Wear, and as that name implies, it's an "at-a-glance" variation of Google's OS tailored specifically for wearables. So far, LG and Motorola have already announced Android Wear smartwatches, and they're just the first in a slew of Android-powered wristables coming this year.

Brilliant!

Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu. They all say they have the TV shows you want to watch, but who really has the best library? Check out our graphic to see (click to zoom in!) and read the full story here: http://lifehacker.com/tv-streaming-head-to-head-netflix-vs-hulu-vs-amazon-pr-1536006625

Quant, decently maintained park. Combination metal & plastic all age play place, 2 tennis courts, rocking animals, pair of covered picnic tables, uncovered benches, & a lazy Susan. 2 regular swings, two toddler swings, but no infant swing. Includes an 80s era metal cylindrical jungle gym & unpainted field the size of a soccer field. None of the play area is covered, entire area is either grass or tire mulch. Entirety is enclosed by a chain link fence, no water or bathroom facilities. Hours are sunrise to sunset, but is unable to be locked up. Looks to have been hit with minor graffiti & painted over repetitively, but nothing vulgar.
