The Elder Scrolls Online does a poor job of selling itself to new players. Surprisingly, things change immensely after around 5 hours of gameplay.
I don't know -- I played it one weekend well beyond 10 hours on a single character and I still wasn't impressed. It was OK, but as MMOs go -- it seemed to be sorely lacking in terms of social aspects and community building. Felt like: One playthrough to cap, thanks, bye.
