Actually closer a really bad crispy fried duck.
It's not the best if I'm honest, but had to be done!

The starters and desert were amazing (the chilli paneer is the best thing I have tasted for ages) but they are really let down by the slow service. When we visited it was far from full but there was long gaps between courses – I think they will massively struggle if the place was full. Their main courses are good. but don’t live up to the standard set by the starter (which admittedly is very high). Rating: 4 despite the slow service just because the paneer was that good. :D

It's hard to guess what you're going to get at The Globe, Because of its location, it's an obvious meeting place for the area and the park, and Wembley meet/finish. That said, there is always something going on there, and you're never going to be short of some entertainment.

Standard Thai fare in london. Menu has all your classics. Batter on the squid starter was a bit chunky for me, but did have some food envy when I saw the noodles on the table next to me.

A great little venue on the water, close to the old town (20 mins walk.) The staff are friendly, and there is an outdoor terrace for evening drinks and breakfast. It is on the water, so rooms are small, but had a great stay.

It's a reasonable pub, just off the main drag, so is quieter than the Globe and some of the other more obvious choices. They always have a couple of ales on, and you can get cheap ping & ding pub grub.

It's a nice looking venue with an outdoor and indoor lounge bar feel. However, it struggles beyond that. The drinks are watery, the food is dismal, and the music, although good, simply clashes with the neighbouring boats. Fun for some people watching and easy drinks, but avoid for food.

A beautiful little find, lovely food, and chilled bistro atmosphere. There are some well delivered classics, and some interesting alternatives. A really good choice after the Tesla Museum.
