With the death of Scalia politics are about to get crazier than they are currently. Obama's nomanee was confirmed for the second most important court(DC circuit)unanimously, which means almost every republican voted for him in 2013, so I feel like Republicans are totally stuck, either vote for him and have one less right winger in the court, or don't and risk a huge PR disaster for the party and maybe not get their guy elected President. Either way Scalia was a bigot and there's finally room for a new Justice. Republicans are gonna say why not wait for a new president, but there are 11 months until a new president plus the time it takes for a new nomanee, it could be a year and a half until a new justice is picked and the the president has a constitutional duty to elect a new one.
