Help & Tips  -

I have an issue with DT Syncing back to my computer. It will never finish the process. I've left it go all afternoon & night (probably 12 hours) and I still had to cancel in the morning to grab my phone for work. I'm running windows 8.1 and have a samsung note II on sprint. What information do you need to help me troubleshoot this?

Thanks
Daniel

Thanks I'll send it tonight. I'm using USB though I have AirSync too. I just don't normally want to run it due to battery usage.

Help & Tips  -

I am really enjoying this app. However I'm having a problem syncing. I have intermittent open wifi in the area. The app on the computer (windows 8.1) and the phone (android 4.3 Samsung Galaxy Note II) keep trying to use airsync. How do I stop the computer from defaulting to airsync so I can use a cable? I have checked the FAQ but maybe I missed it if someone could point me in the right direction that would be  great
Thanks

+Henry Kwan I was able to get DT to sync with a cable but the process never completes. I even left my phone in process all night last night. It usually gets stuck syncing back to iTunes. I even did a sync from phone to computer only and it still would not complete. Any tips on getting it to finish?
Thanks

Ideas & Improvements  -

I think it would be great to be able to rate songs without having to unlock the phone. I build a lot of playlists based on ratings.

Hello Daniel,

Thanks for the feedback. Some users have requested adding a rate feature to our custom lock screen so this is something that we're investigating as a possible option in the a future release.

Thanks,
Henry

Whether a high-speed rail system ever gets built in the United States is still up in the air, but this map shows where these 220mph trains would go in the U.S.

Get more details: http://on.mash.to/1563wLP

Would you like to see a high-speed rail system in the U.S.?

This is what happens to your body within one hour of drinking a can of soda.

10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system, which is 100 percent of your recommended daily intake. You'd normally vomit from such an intake, but the phosphoric acid cuts the flavor.

20 minutes: Your blood sugar skyrockets. Your pancreas attempts to maximize insulin production in order to turn high levels of sugar into fat.

40 minutes: As your body finishes absorbing the caffeine, your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, and your liver pumps more sugar into the bloodstream. Adenosine receptors in your brain are blocked preventing you from feeling how tired you may actually be.

45 minutes: Your body increases dopamine production, causing you to feel pleasure and adding to the addictiveness of the beverage. This physical neuro response works the same way as it would if we were consuming heroin.

60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, which boosts your metabolism a bit further. High doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners compound this effect, increasing the urinary excretion of calcium. The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (You have to GO!) Your body will eliminate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was otherwise heading to your bones. And you will also flush out the sodium, electrolytes and water. Your body has eliminated the water that was in the soda. And in the process it was infused with nutrients and minerals your body would have otherwise used to hydrate your system or build body cells, bones, teeth.

The sugar crash begins. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You start feeling like crap. Time to grab another?

I just discovered that the miracle no-calorie, 0 sugar sweetener Splenda has 2 undesirable effects. It causes your metabolism to crash AND gives you an uncontrollable craving for sweets.  So much for a safe, non-nutritive sweetener to replace all that nasty sucrose and glucose!  Apparently the only safe sweeteners are xylitol (in VERY small amounts, because it can and usually does result in gastric upset and uncontrollable gas), and only the sort that is derived from the birch tree, NOT the cheaper kind that is made from corncobs and so is no different than high fructose corn syrup; and certain brands of stevia (the most expensive, of course!) So I'm still wondering, even if I use only whole grain flour, whether wheat or another grain, what sweetener is safe to bake with?  After all, if humans (not just men) can't live on bread alone, nor can they not live without bread and other baked yummies. But those baked goods do need sweetener, and not only to taste good. It's part of the food chemistry that is baking.

Great Place! Good coffee. I'm really glad they're back. My only comment would be that the portion sizes have gone down a bit since they switched locations but it's not terrible. (Really I noticed in the muffins. They were huge previously now they're more of a normal size) Overall I really enjoy the place and wish I had more opportunities to stop by!

I suppose the only thing not to like might be the price but when you think of what you're getting it's usually worth it!
