I'm using Hangouts on a Nexus 4 with stock 5.0.1 I have two MMS threads that show up in hangouts on my phone, but do not show up in the Hangouts Chrome app or in Hangouts in Google+ One is a single MMS and another is a group message. Both threads were started by the same contact. Any thoughts on this, or has anyone else experienced this?

+Daniel Johnsen sounds like these MMS threads are tied to your carrier number rather than your Google Voice number. Only Google Voice messages also appear in Hangouts on the desktop.

Once I've opted in to using Google Voice in Hangouts, do I need to keep Google Voice installed on my Nexus or is Hangouts doing all the lifting?

Also, Is there any kind of a guide as to what settings work best for receiving calls? I've been having issues with the same call coming in on my phone two or three times before it goes to voicemail.

Woohoo! The ultimate digestive system post is finished!

Here you'll find a complete run down on how the digestive system works, THREE awesome science projects to go along with what you've learned, AND a ton of awesome links and resources to help you learn even more!

Basically, here is everything we've done while we learned about digestion, and the best of what helped us along the way.

Oh, and there's cake too! I promise, it's not a lie. ;)
It's an anatomy cake of SCIENCE!!!! Today I'll share how we made our digestive system anatomy cake, took a blind taste challenge, and modeled the process of the digestive system! You can find the projects listed throughout this blog post (with a cake finale!), and links and resources at the end.

Introduction
“If little else, the brain is an educational toy. The problem with possessing such an engaging toy is that other people want to play with it, too. Sometime they'd rather play with yours than theirs. Or they object if you play with yours in a different manner from the way they play with theirs. The result is, a few games out of a toy department of possibilities are universally and endlessly repeated. If you don't play some people's game, they say that you have 'lost your marbles,' not recognizing that, while Chinese checkers is indeed a fine pastime, a person may also play dominoes, chess, strip poker, tiddlywinks, drop-the-soap or Russian roulette with his brain.”

Weird, Intense Dream
www.danielmjohnsen.com

Last week I had a strange dream, one of those dreams that you wake from feeling like it meant something even if you don't know what the hell

Long wait so it's a good place to go out when you want to talk with a group of friends.

Great brunch place. Prepare to nap afterwards. It's a "food coma" kind of place.

Good place to get some coffee or a chai. The crepes are excellent. Love it when they've got a DJ on the patio.
