This is the power rangers? It looks way better then that show ever did, reel creepy and dark!
James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff star in Joseph Kahn's (Detention, Toque) R-rated, NSFW Power Rangers short film. We did not think the Power Rangers could be this dark. We were so wrong.

Pocketcast always dropping knowledge. They get my money anytime

"People are often quick to mis-interpret these numbers. “iOS 8 adoption is at 64%, but Android 4.4, a version that’s years old isn’t even at that!”. There’s two things wrong with these kinds of comments. Firstly there are roughly 6-8x more Android devices than iOS devices in the world, depending on which market share numbers you use. This means that if a version of Android achieves 39% adoption, that’s a huge deal, and you could develop just for that platform and address a larger user base than targeting iOS 8 with its 64%. Secondly people confuse overall numbers, with actual numbers of people who buy apps. Here for example are the version breakdowns of people who buy Pocket Casts on Android

So while Android 5.0 has less than 1% adoption in the overall Android eco-system, 23% of our customers already run it. This makes sense when you put a bit of thought into these numbers. People that have the money to buy apps, and are passionate about Android, have up to date phones. While some users who run Android 2.3 on their 5 year old phone might be perfectly happy, they probably weren’t ever going to buy Pocket Casts. It’s also worth noting that Pocket Casts sells in much larger volumes (and makes more revenue) than any numbers I’ve seen for an equivalent iOS app. We’ve slowly moved our minimum version from 2.3, to 4.0, to 4.1 and it hasn’t hurt sales at all"

I see a lot of confusion, and to be honest ridicule, from iOS Developers when it comes to new Android versions. In iOS when Apple release v8, all the supported devices get it on day 1. In most case...

You know what I love about the Google Glass news cycle? How forums around the web erupt with people vehemently declaring that they will not wear them, that people who do are douchebags or pricks, or will be perceived as nerds.

There was a time in the tech community when people didn't give a crap about looks or the perception others. In the early 90s, I knew people who just started experimenting with the Private Eye, and no one even thought to question how it looked. Why? Because having a viewscreen and computer instantly accessible and ready at hand was considered science fiction, something that people dreamed and fantasized about. Cyberpunk was the dream, a future of skill chips, and magic glasses or head bands.

The people who frequent technology sites these days and pretend to be interested in tech are not like the generation of old, from the Homebrewers to the first batch of internet geeks. Instead, they seem to treat technology as a fashion statement, as jewelry, as a piece of coffee table conversation to appear smart and informed.

I wonder if it ever occurred to them that someone would want to wear Google Glass, not to appear ostentatious or cool, but because they actually like the idea of the world's information available at the blink of an eye?

The best norsecorse always hails from Austria. Ages ago I reviewed this album for Schwermetall: www.schwermetall.ch/cdkritiken/kritik1164.php (in german) I no longer agree with most of my criticism back then, though.

Coffee is great, the waitresses had a Berlin-charme (which I do not have a problem with) and the Coworking-Space was okay. However, Club Mate is a bit on the expensive side, considering you can find 0,5L bottles for 89cents.

The staff is always friendly and they already just ask if I want the same as always or if the amount of my order differs this time due to being a regular customer. The buns are always good, no matter the timing I am buying them.
