Need Some Help

I found out today I am going to be shooting an event for a local Humane society I volunteer with. It is going to be 5K race and dog walk. I primarily do landscapes so this is not what I am used to. I was wondering if anyone had some tips and advice to help me out. I will basically be wondering around taking pictures of the race and all the dogs. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Us the Al Servo mode if any of the runners or dogs are coming towards you at any pace. Play with these settings prior the day. Good luck, and enjoy.
