Another big differentiator in the Android world is widgets. Below are the differences between Evernote and OneNote widgets. If anything, I'd love you see search added here. Even better would be the ability to customize what goes in the widget. Thanks!

Good morning everyone! One of the features I'd really appreciate seeing in the next release is the ability to move your notes around between sections, notebooks, and even rearrange the order within a section. I personally can't stand notes accumulating in Quick Notes (for example, I send am email or clip a website on the go) and love to organize them to where they need to be. Will that be added in the next release?

I don't know...is it just me, or can every article about Apple's conference yesterday be summed up with this headline:" "Apple finally innovates its OS and tries to play catch up with Samsung, Android, Google Drive, Google+ Photos, Snapseed, Dropbox, What's App, Evernote Skitch, Chromecast, Microsoft's Bing, Chrome, ......." Wait, am I missing an app or service there? Just let me know, okay? :)

Today at WWDC, Apple announced a huge batch of products aimed straight at the heart existing companies and apps. Here are just a few of the things that are feeling a spinning beachball target on their backs.

Great read Daniel, as a former Apple crazy and now being quite neutral using any platform that's best for the job, I find it an intricate way of putting things, looking at the WWDC video. I mean, why taking credit for something others have already put on a certain level? Apple may, by all means, improve it, but believing that those people watching the show see only Apple before their eyes, that's not too smart.

Good morning everyone. Unless I'm missing something, it seems really odd that you can't open a OneNote attachment natively... Not even in Outlook.com app. You'd think that would be something you'd be able to do like Evernote. Is that on deck for the beta team? Thanks!

+Ayush Rastogi Thanks for replying. It's not that it's part of my regular workflow, however, I do keep two OneNote accounts: one for work and one for home. There are a number of occasions that I'm at work that I'll clip an article or write up a note that should be in my personal account and I'll e-mail and then delete the page in my work accounts. In this regard, being able to open and not share .one pages would be very useful.

With Evernote, it is a very popular option to share Evernote pages as attachments so that other users can then add that particular page to their own account. Again, this is a better option to some than to share the individual page.

I think given these two (but similar) use cases, there would a great benefit to coding a new version to allow for being able to natively open the page.

Do you know Ayush whether you can natively open on the WP?

Thanks!

+Daniel Gold if you're going to go there, I would begin questioning the entire hub-spoke paradigm of air travel. The assumption is that creating hubs and cramming people into large airports is somehow more "efficient" because it creates better resource "utilization." You're closer to a great use of TOC than you may realize!

Hi All - In hopes that this +OneNote Android Beta Community is being moderated, here are the suggestions I have so far. I hope this helps!

Audio Playback needs to be improved. The audio quality on the android app is not very good. It sounds very robotic and what when you play it back.
Sort views by date, view, etc. It would be helpful to have the ability to sort views by date, view, etc.
Ability to share individual sections or pages (instead of entire notebooks) Vote for this if you want to be able to share an individual section or page with other users, instead of only being able to share an entire notebook.
Move notes between sections and notebooks There should be the option to move pages between sections and notebooks.
Text Wrapping in list view It would be great to have text wrapping in note titles in list view.
List in thumbnail view It would be great to have an option to view thumbnail images next to each note if there is a document or photo in the note.
Share to OneNote from Chrome/Firefox - There should be an option to send the entire website as text over to OneNote as opposed to me@onenote.com which sends it over as an image.

I switched fully to Evernote after Springpad made it clear that it couldn't handle even rudimentary word processing on its mobile apps.  I went premium almost immediately, and I've never regretted it.  To paraphrase a line out of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels, never trust anything if you can't see where it keeps its wallet.

Just picked up the Samsung Galaxy S5. Wow. Now this ... this is a phone! So impressed. Super fast. Gorgeous screen resolution. Super bright. Quick connect to my Samsung TV. Plus the camera ... my most important criteria for a smartphone is absolutely outrageous. 16MP!! Take a look at this photo I snapped last night on the plane. Literally photo #2. Now to test it out for real ... on the kids!
