I thoroughly enjoy cooking and since July 2012 have been living what I call an 80/20 nutritional plan. 80% of my diet consists of vegetarian/vegan meals and I allow myself 20% of cheat time for situations where maintaining my 80% is not a viable option.

Might just have to make this next weekend.

I must believe in spring, as I did a little work in the yard today

I love this "Eco Chic" step garden you can fit in the smallest yard. Cool idea, no?

Big Glass update!!!
Bummed about the loss of Video Calls but I get it. Are you?
#GlassUpdates are back with Kit Kat for Glass, photo bundles & more

You’ve been asking us when the next round of updates were coming. Well, they’re coming later this week! We know it’s been a little while, but this is a big one and we think it’s well worth the wait. Here’s what you’ll find in the new release:

Kit Kat for Glass – Our most exciting update is subtle, but big. We’ve been working on a significant upgrade to a new version of the Glass software. It’s not a change you can see, but it brings improved battery life and makes Glass more reliable and easier to update in the future. And now that Glass runs Android Kit Kat, developers can write Glassware using the latest Android SDK goodness, along with new features from our GDK.

Photo bundles – This one has been a long-standing request from our Explorers: now when you scroll through your timeline, your photos, videos and vignettes from each day will be organized in bundles so that you can swipe less and see more.

Photo replies in Hangouts – Photo sharing has been really popular amongst our Explorers, so we’ve added new ways to send photos in Hangout messages. The next time someone asks “what’s up,” tap “Reply” and then take a photo to show them. (If you already took the perfect photo, you can still tap to “Send” it in a Hangout message.)

Sending feedback – We always want to hear feedback from you on ways we can make Glass better so we’re making it even easier. Tap on the device info card in Settings and tell us what’s on your mind. If you need help, you can still send us an email, call us, or post in the Explorers Community.

Voice command sorting – With new features and Glassware, your voice command menu has grown pretty long. When you tap or say “ok glass,” voice commands are now sorted by recency and frequency, making it easier to see the commands you use most often and faster to access them from the touch menu.

Video calls – We hold ourselves to high standards for the features that we build, and video calls aren’t living up to these standards. Explorers have told us so directly, and fewer than 10% of them use video calls. For this reason, we’ve made the hard decision to remove video calls from Glass until the experience is better. We don’t know when that will be, but in the meantime, keep an eye on MyGlass as more Glassware is built and released – we’re already seeing the developer community work on other video streaming services. We’ve always said that feedback from Explorers shapes Glass, and this is no exception.

…and more – This is a massive update and we couldn’t fit all the changes into this post, so watch the Glass Journal in the Explorers Community to see the rest.

I believe that the connection of telematics will be the biggest advancement with mobile and cars #telematics   #mobile   #automotive   #autonews
As Google and Apple both work hard with their partners to prepare their own connected automobile platforms, we wonder, will the smart, connected automobile be the next big thing in mobile? Or is it doomed to be a niche into the foreseeable future?

I just had my sons 7th Birthday party here and the facility and staff are awesome. My son and 13 of his friends climbed for an hour and half, then they were able to have some pizza and cup cakes in the spacious event room. Great place!

I haven't been to the Mountain Barn in years but my family and some friends went for my Birthday dinner last evening. I have to say that it was better then I remember. I had Wasabi Salmon special, my wife go a mediterranean pasta dish and both were great. The service was top notch and they even didn't mind ( that much ) when our kids were being a bit loud after dinner. The menu had a wide range of pub fare and the decor was nostalgic and charming. If you are ever near Wachusett Mountain and are looking for a great place to eat on your way out, try the Mountain Barn for sure.

I love this place. The food is great, prices are reasonable and staff is cool. Even when the are jammed they have a smile on their face and burrito in their hand. I have frequented it for some time now. If you get there on the a Thursday or Friday between say 12 and 1:30 there will literally a line to the door. Fret not, it moves quick and is well worth it. I absolutely love their hot salsa ( They should bottle it and sell it, I would buy it by the gallon) and their guacamole.

Just picked up a great end of the year deal on a nice Burton. Have been a customer of EB for years and they are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I dealt with both Aaron and Ryan and they answered each of my questions ( and I had plenty) and when the board I chose ended up being a different location they were able to get it to the Worcester location the following day. Sad I likely won't be able to ride it until next year but I am stoked to be able to get a great spring deal. EB is the only choice for skate and snowboard gear for me in Worcester county. Thanks!

I went into GameStop looking to get a new game. The clerk took the time to answer all my questions about recent titles. It had been some time since my PS3 had seen any action other than the occassion DVD or Netflix. I was torn between a shooter like Battlefield or a Sports game like Madden. After a brief discussion I decided that I would give Madden a try. The clerk was helpful, courteous and had the answers to my questions. I have been to different Game Stop locations before where they have been too busy or preoccupied to take the time answer all my questions. He took it all in stride. I wish could recall his name, I would give him a shout out here.

Having visited New Ginza frequently over the years as it right across the street from one of the dealerships in my organization. I have alway been thoroughly impressed with the service and food. I have recently started a mostly plant based diet and today I went to New Ginza and had an incredible vegetarian maki lunch special. I was so impressed with the service I received today and the maki was superb!

This was the second year that my wife and I have spent our anniversary weekend at the Captain David Kelley house. While planning for our weekend escape we had contemplated trying a different B&B. After much thought and research we decided to reach out to Rick and Tom to see if they had any availability. We had such a great experience the prior year we decided, " if it's not broken, don't fix it. " This year was a repeat of last in terms of the quality of the service from the first phone call all the way through checking out. Tom and Rick do an exceptional job maintaining the B&B, are friendly and available for questions and the breakfast offerings are very much " off the charts " good. We were glad to see the the friendly scone rivalry is still going strong...We had an excellent time and appreciate the quality of everything and attention to detail the Tom and Rick provide. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and the opportunity to enjoy a historic B&B on the Cape. Look no further than the Captain David Kelley House in Centerville. Thanks guys for another awesome weekend!
