In September 2011 I started blogging at http://danielsfontaine.com about things that interest me which include; Automotive E-Commerce, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Food, Technology, Social and more!

I am still honing my craft only having previously contributed to my gaming website blog. All in all I am having fun with it though.

In January 2013 I started eating8020.com which is a blog that follows my HOA cooking show that airs every other Tuesday night at 9:00PM EST that features Vegetarian recipes. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and since July 2012 have been living what I call an 80/20 nutritional plan. 80% of my diet consists of vegetarian/vegan meals and I allow myself 20% of cheat time for situations where maintaining my 80% is not a viable option.

All thoughts and opinions expressed here are mine, and do not reflect those of my past or current employer.

Google+ Collections are here! Here is what you need to know.

This is the feature that we've always wanted and it's amazing. Simply put, collections are groups or categories of posts and content. Compare them to circles. Circles are for people. Collections are for content. The best part? You can now subscribe to ONLY the content you want to see in your stream. Don't like noise and clutter? You'll love this feature. Get out there and subscribe to the collections that YOU want.

I'm so happy that I can finally talk about this. :)

For a complete overview of collections, check out my attached post.

You can see all of my collections here: http://goo.gl/hDaTLc

Whether rain, shine, or thick fog, The Streets at Seven Springs were never quiet. Here’s a selection of hefty hammers that went down during Superpark 19 presented by Nexen Tire.

Amazon Dash Button makes buying products dangerously easy

Who needs the grocery store? Out of laundry detergent? Just tap a button. Used the last garbage bag? Just tap a button.

Amazon will start sending email invitations to select Prime Members with offers to try out the Dash Button, which is limited to 3 per household at this time.

Eventually though, Amazon hopes that product manufacturers can bake this technology into their own hardware: things like coffeemakers, washer, dryers, printers, pet food dispensers, and more.

Last turns of the year this past Saturday when for the first time in history +Wachusett Mountain Ski Area ran a lift in May. Can't tell by this lift pic but we were riding in 75 weather on some great snow. So surreal. Told Cam he was probably the only kid in Massachusetts that  was snowboarding in the morning and playing soccer in the afternoon. Literally 45 minutes from slopes to field. He had fun and did great on both fronts.

Kudos to #wachusettmountain   and #wachusettparks  for an awesome, fun and historic  #cincodemayo   #railjam  it was a blast as was the entire season.   #whychusett  .... The count is on!

The United States Of Video Games

This is all kinds of awesome! Can you think of any more games that are set in a specific state?

An interesting article about the state of pro snowboarding and how sponsorships and exposure have become very important in getting noticed for the sport. Most snowboarders are now constantly uploading content social media to gain more notoriety and searching for sponsors to stay in the game.

I have worked with String Automotive ( Formerly Captive Lead) since late 2008. I have come to appreciate the dynamic way that the entire String team interacts with me and The Colonial Automotive Group. Their team, products and support is top notch in my book. Being smaller is better for me when it comes to a web/analytics team because I have been able to have a heavy hand in shaping our digital strategies. For me at least, with the larger OEM mandated site providers they are seemingly more inflexible with dealer/client feedback, I get " oh that a nice idea, we'll bring it up at the next quarterly production meeting. Whereas String has relished that feedback, acted on it ( swiftly in some cases) and has continued to improve their product offerings across the board with valued feedback from dealers like Colonial. The Dealer Positioning System (DPS) that has been out for over a year now is an incredible Analytics resource which allows me to quickly determine what digital marketing channels are working, which ones need adjustment, and which ones we should consider nixing. I am truly happy to see their growth and a genuinely feel they are a partner not just another vendor with just another product.

I just had my sons 7th Birthday party here and the facility and staff are awesome. My son and 13 of his friends climbed for an hour and half, then they were able to have some pizza and cup cakes in the spacious event room. Great place!

I went into GameStop looking to get a new game. The clerk took the time to answer all my questions about recent titles. It had been some time since my PS3 had seen any action other than the occassion DVD or Netflix. I was torn between a shooter like Battlefield or a Sports game like Madden. After a brief discussion I decided that I would give Madden a try. The clerk was helpful, courteous and had the answers to my questions. I have been to different Game Stop locations before where they have been too busy or preoccupied to take the time answer all my questions. He took it all in stride. I wish could recall his name, I would give him a shout out here.

Having visited New Ginza frequently over the years as it right across the street from one of the dealerships in my organization. I have alway been thoroughly impressed with the service and food. I have recently started a mostly plant based diet and today I went to New Ginza and had an incredible vegetarian maki lunch special. I was so impressed with the service I received today and the maki was superb!

I haven't been to the Mountain Barn in years but my family and some friends went for my Birthday dinner last evening. I have to say that it was better then I remember. I had Wasabi Salmon special, my wife go a mediterranean pasta dish and both were great. The service was top notch and they even didn't mind ( that much ) when our kids were being a bit loud after dinner. The menu had a wide range of pub fare and the decor was nostalgic and charming. If you are ever near Wachusett Mountain and are looking for a great place to eat on your way out, try the Mountain Barn for sure.

I love this place. The food is great, prices are reasonable and staff is cool. Even when the are jammed they have a smile on their face and burrito in their hand. I have frequented it for some time now. If you get there on the a Thursday or Friday between say 12 and 1:30 there will literally a line to the door. Fret not, it moves quick and is well worth it. I absolutely love their hot salsa ( They should bottle it and sell it, I would buy it by the gallon) and their guacamole.

Just picked up a great end of the year deal on a nice Burton. Have been a customer of EB for years and they are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I dealt with both Aaron and Ryan and they answered each of my questions ( and I had plenty) and when the board I chose ended up being a different location they were able to get it to the Worcester location the following day. Sad I likely won't be able to ride it until next year but I am stoked to be able to get a great spring deal. EB is the only choice for skate and snowboard gear for me in Worcester county. Thanks!
