This graph charts current capacity (top, red line) vis-a-vis demand. The idea is to keep demand below capacity in order to avoid power outages.
So far, so good.
It's supposed to be live, updated every hour.
This was the result of collaboration among unpaid volunteers. Even the web space is free.
Original idea came from Roberto (Obet) Verzola, whose mail I re-posted here some weeks ago.
Would be neat if the radio and TV stations picked this up, particularly when demand is critically close to supply (e.g., within 10%?), and advise the public to switch off unneeded appliances.
