Although I'm a big fan of Entity Framework, I have to admit that NHibernate provides a really flexible way of handling class inheritance and parent-child relationship. That said, I've noticed that these two important concepts are not very well explained in the documentation, which leads to a ...

Looking for a good and simple explanation of first level nHibernate cache? I found a good one here!
NHibernate has built in support for caching. It might sound like a very simple feature to implement but, in reality, its one of the most complex piece. Using various Caching strategies provided by NHibernate we can achieve extremely good performance improvements.

Considering the nUnit constraint style assertion? Here's a good tutorial to start, it is definitely more readable than classic assertion (i think).

http://www.nunit.org/index.php?p=constraintModel&r=2.6.3
Constraint-Based Assert Model (NUnit 2.4). The constraint-based Assert model uses a single method of the Assert class for all assertions. The logic necessary to carry out each assertion is embedded in the constraint object passed as the second parameter to that method.
