Haha, love this. A troll invites me into his thread where he shows only a small snippet of a post I made, taken completely out of context, and when I share the full post, he deletes it repeatedly.

It's amazing how afraid he is of the truth. It amuses me so :)

Private/secret information being leaked... sounds like Facebook's specialty to me. Wonder how they got higher priority than Amazon in the first place.

Google knew about Heartbleed before it was public. Here's who the company told and why
When word of the Heartbleed bug first came out, news spread like a fire alarm — but it didn’t spread evenly. The vulnerability was spread across as manh as two out of every three servers, which...

+Google+ Any plans to add the ability for users to choose which categories within a page they see on their own page?

For instance, some pages I follow have 10+ very active categories, but maybe I'm only interested in two of them.

It'd be nice to be able to toggle off the others, or toggle off all of them and only toggle back on the ones I care about.

Surely I'm not the only person longing for this ability? :)

So, I recently reported (for the second year in a row) that the support beam for the floor of the next deck above mine was rotted out and birds had been nesting in it for the last year or more.

Apparently this is an acceptable solution from Seldin Company management. No attempt was made to clear out the nests, let alone offer any support to the failing structure. When prompted about repairs, the worker simply said "we don't do that".

What's going on with +YouTube today? There's only 360 and 720 resolution available on all the videos now... It's nice to see the new speed setting, but where's 480 and 1080?

Unfortunately I don't have many words to offer to this video. All I know is that it really has me sitting here thinking about my life and my current situation and what true happiness really is, and how spoiled my life is.

I'm a tech geek that's learning just how little I really know about the tech world.

I'm finally at the level where I recognize my lack of skills as I continue to increase them, so I'm always up for more input, more learning, and corrections (with proof) when I've got a concept wrong.

My girlfriend and I ate here about a month ago and I can't forget this place. It's inside what's left of Southroads Mall, so unfortunately the atmosphere is lacking, but the great food and the owner who really cares about his food and his store make the place worth revisiting. I've had gyros all over the country, and they're generally pretty good, but John's stands out above every other one I've been to from Dallas, to Pueblo Colorado, to Kansas City, and everywhere in between. Not only is the food excellent, but the price is unbelievable. With dessert and drinks and gyro meals which included salad and fries our entire ticket was under $15 for the two of us.

I do not understand how this place had gotten such a high rating, or why everyone talks so much about it. The ribs we had were dry and flavorless and didn't appear to have been slow cooked like proper BBQ at all. Their only saving grace was their sauce, which was required to make the ribs edible. To their credit, the corn bread was fine and the apple crisp was pretty damn good. The building is basically just a school cafeteria type of setting, pretty common for BBQ joints so no complaints there really but it still could be better. No complaints on the service either, but then it's not hard to take an order and grab pre-wrapped food off a warming tray.

The place is now called Sakura, and I've been here several times since they reopened. It's slightly pricey, but I think that's all sushi/Japanese steakhouses. Despite what others have said, I find the quality and flavor to be average or better. They won't make headlines for sure, but their food tastes fine and is well made. I grew up on Asian cuisine in larger cities and I'd rate this place on par with the more budget minded, but still good, ones in larger cities.

First, Google has the name wrong, it's "Beijing Tokyo", but that's neither here nor there :) I enjoy coming here as often as my budget allows. Beijing Tokyo offers a good selection of typical Chinese-American entrees and Japanese sushi and sides that's of reasonable quality and within the expected price range, for this type of food, in this part of the country. The staff is friendly and personable, although between lunch and dinner with as slow as it gets they may be in the back prepping. All told, if you don't like dealing with Omaha traffic, or just want something nearby that's tasty, this little spot in Bellevue is highly recommended.
