Ubuntu. I like you. But that's not happening. I wish they would just focus on the desktop!

Dunno hey, if rumours are true and Google start manufacturing Nexus by themselves and not through a partner, then it's quite possible to see others jumping to Ubuntu. The desktop is evolving and its future is dynamic and based on snappy architecture.

Get an extra 2GB of Google Drive storage by doing a security check on your account. This'll also stack on top of last year's bonus, if you did it then as well.

They are desperate for apps. I wouldn't be surprised if they let them through just to boost numbers.

I've been asked at least three times to enter competitions where you must develop apps for the Windows store with cash prizes.

Effing Passwords
Everyone knows they’re a nightmare, no one can remember them if they use sensible ones, and easy ones have been hacked and made public so many times it’s not even interesting.
I'm currently trying to activate a very old email address for my Mrs, the complex process is nothing other than arcane, even with a very helpful fellow on the phone, it's stumped him and I'm waiting for the call back and, of course she's forgotten the password.
I set it up for her 10 years ago, I don't have a clue.
Yes there are password apps and services like 1Password which I half use but then I forget the password for that and it only works on half the services I use because everyone wants you to use a damn password and I forget to add it to the keychain and then it all goes Pete Tong and I scream at my computer.
Then there’s 2 step authentication, brilliant, so clever, if you are somewhere with half decent cell phone coverage.
I have zero cell phone coverage at home so that doesn’t work, so I got a cell phone booster box which allowed my to have a connection on my phone until that crapped out and when I re-booted it, guess what, it wanted a password and I couldn’t remember it.
Is someone clever, I mean very young and very clever going to come up with some kind of foolproof, un-hackable system for making this mess go away for ever. Fingerprint readers are good, retinal scans, subcutaneous chips, anal implants, I’d accept anything if it meant I never had to remember
wsj8md2powq23asdn110-laqwb4
Which, just in case you’re wondering, isn’t one of my passwords.

+Daniel Baines I've only run into a handful of sites that don't work with Chrome's password sync feature. That's that's an excellent track record.

I already have the 6P. But even with this discount, I still can't get over the price. I could only ever see myself getting one for £100 max and that's not going to happen anytime soon!
