Why do it?
As I was growing up I learned many things, but one thing very well. I learned that everyone has a set of unique beliefs and that many of us hold those beliefs firmly over the course of our lives. We all believe in some idea, a monotheistic, polytheistic, or...

As always amazing, Jason. I remember the first time I tried my Oculus Rift when it shipped in and I immersed myself in this new world. All I could think was 'wow', this is like headphones but for your vision. We are literally replacing the data that enters our visual sensors, which when combined with auditory data that we have already replaced by using headphones, creates the possibility to dive into an infinite number of worlds, it bridges the digital divide, we are getting closer to becoming one with technology. We are knocking on the door of infinite possibility but it begs the question, is this the first time we have gone through this portal?

Supreme Court Dogs - A Research Endeavor
Last Sunday, John Oliver released a challenge  on Last Week Tonight. I thought, hmm, this sounds interesting. How can we map videos of Supreme Court Dogs to the audio clips and transcripts? The problem kept me up for a bit that night, pondering the problem,...

Programming for Google Cardboard (starting from nothing)
I am not an app developer. I have never made an app for my phone that went beyond the initial demo. However, I wanted to experiment with Google Cardboard and I had about an hour of time to give up to this fun toy. Well, now its 55 minutes, lets see how far ...

Meh. It is currently just a bad experience. Overall, I'm sad to say I had high expectations but was disappointed by it. I just didn't enjoy myself. I went in with a decent sized group (7) and they told us a 30 minute wait for a table which was actually quite nice since the place was packed. After we got seated and ordered our food the place got a bit less packed but service that had been great started getting worse. Then, two of my friends didn't get their food with everyone else. They then proceeded to ask twice more if everything was okay, at which point my two friends wanted to cancel their meal. It finally came after we called the manager over and complained about no food. My two friends got their bills and were still charged for it which was disappointing to see they didn't have the courtesy to at least discount it. If you forget someone's food for over an hour, don't charge them for it or at least give them a free beer, sigh.. My friend complained about that and he got it removed from his bill but they didn't extend the courtesy to my second friend, which I found to be the final disappointment for this place. Food quality was also subpar. Probably won't be coming back.

Had a great and super quick experience, felt compelled to leave a review since it was so mixed.

Loved it. Had the egg sandwich with bacon and my side dish was grits. Sat at the bar -- the food was the highlight, service was great too! Love the atmosphere!

Wonderful service with outstanding food, there really isn't anything I dislike about the Georgia Grille. The atmosphere is enchanting. It's generally pretty packed, medium noise level, just the right amount. I am not a huge fan of tequila (I hate it) but I was finishing their margaritas with delight. I had both the house and Dan's (of course) margarita with Patron and it was just outstanding! Will definitely be coming back. For food, I had to have the lobster enchilada which was everything I could have hoped for and more. My friends had the chicken enchilada and a pork chop that was that night's special. Everyone was very impressed with the food, top notch dining in a casual environment, love it.

I had the breakfast all day, everything in that was delicious. I also ordered the quinoa + spinach salad side which although good, was way too small to be worth $3.50.

Outstanding. Ordered the octopus and it was alright but the main meal we ordered chicken and hanger steak and both of those were delicious. The chicken dish was personally better than the steak (good flavor but a bit too chewy). Regardless of all this, the toffee pudding made this place worth a second, third and fourth visit. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
