"Click". It switched. Unequivocally different. Through those hardships We finally turned around. Perhaps reflections and glimmers Gave us sight when we could not claim But the panoramic put the shimmer To shame. Thank you. In this brilliance we rose Hoping ...

Ever flip a coin hoping to choose What never had a side? Ever hope it fell on its side Not yours or mine, but its. Its the introspective gamble, The bet we never made The thoughts we shattered Hoping their rebuilt selves would float away. But instead we fin...

Finance
A small quote I came up with as I was going to bed last night, felt it was worth sharing: Don't buy depreciating assets unless they are a necessity and if so, buy them depreciated.

Soliloquy.
I'm tired of this shit, Been wasting cells on trivialities When people in cells want trivialities The river is thirsty but this spit aint right. What can I give you when the prechewed became preprocessed And the preprocessed got raped in the process. I wish...

How to write each row in a file to a new file (awk)
Was helping a colleague, we figured this out after some searching -- pretty self explanatory make sure you have an input file with rows, and a folder called output in the directory you are calling this: awk '{print $0 > "output/"NR".txt";close("output/"NR"....

awk is definitely worth a few hours of experimentation. I use it at least once a week for data processing.

Lost in thought.
I wrote this while awaiting a ferry to go to my friends' wedding in Poros, Greece. It was an enlightening moment fueled with a bit of travel exhaustion -- but at this point I'm happy to say that's become the norm. Maybe it was never about the traveling. I m...

Some notes about Deep Learning
For the past few years, deep learning has become all the hype (and some of the accuracy improvements). We have slowly but surely transitioned into loving this system first proposed by LeCun et. al (1989 ). It is quickly becoming a prominent part of my field...

They win. This is insane. Oh my god. This is by far one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing placed I have ever stayed at. I just got here but reviewing it anyways, this is stellar.

The worse service I've ever received at a Home Depot. If I ask if you can assist me and you say yes but then act reluctant to even care what I'm saying, just say no and that you're busy, I prefer honesty over feigned interest. Really disappointing place.

Review for their Tap restaurant. Their Cajun Mac & Cheese uses buffalo sauce -- just totally out of place. Very disappointing, a lack of authenticity, meh.

Es la perfecta combinacion de un ambiente costal con una experiencia culinaria inolvidable en la pequeña bella ciudad de Cadaques. Un 'orgasmo culinario', tendre que volver.
