How do I upgrade Kubuntu 15.04 to plasma 5.3.2? Look like the Kubuntu backports ppa is not working for 15.04 to update tho the latest plasma 5. Is it available only for the 15.10?

I am using Nvidia prime with Nvidia 346.59 proprietary driver. And lately if I am on Nvidia card, whenever I turn off or reboot computer, I will not be able to enter the login screen. Luckily I can get to the terminal and load the intel card, then reboot, login to Kubuntu, then select Nvidia card again, log out and if I am lucky, I will be presented with the login screen. But it not always works and I have to repeat the step to select Intel card again, reboot, login and again try my luck to launch Nvidia card. usually I am able to reach the login screen after one time of switching back to intel, but sometimes it is two or three times needed to switch till Nvidia manages to load SDDM(?) I am on Dell XPS L502X with Nvidia GeForece 540M. Not sure why it is happening, I used to have some severe problems with Nvidia card, but at some time they seemed to be solved for like a month and things were working perfectly, however now for 3 weeks this odd behavior is happening.Aug 3, 2015
Strange. All works pretty got for me here on Dell Inspirion with Nvidia Prime and Plasma 5.3.2 (Kubuntu 15.10). I doubt Plasma has anything to do here as it is more nvidia-prime and sddm stuff and that was known problem before 15.04 release.Aug 3, 2015- Could it be that Kubuntu 15.10 comes with a newer kernel than 15.04 comes with? maybe there are components that make it work better in general? Or maybe it is my graphic card not playing well with Prime and the driver.Aug 3, 2015
- Wily uses atm. Kernel 4.1.0 and for me it removed some unwanted messages during booting etc. But Nvidia Prime worked also with older Kernel pretty good.Aug 3, 2015
- Well, my system seems to not like something probably will see how it is with the next version of Kubuntu or Plasma, what matters the most, the 5.3.2 should fix reboot scripts which in my case gonna be big improvement :)Aug 3, 2015
