The ASACUSA experiment at CERN has succeeded for the first time in producing a beam of antihydrogen atoms. In a paper published today in Nature Communications, the ASACUSA collaboration reports the unambiguous detection of 80 antihydrogen atoms 2.7 metres downstream of their production, where the perturbing influence of the magnetic fields used initially to produce the antiatoms is small. This result is a significant step towards precise hyperfin...

Cool pic Danail - Emissions are less of a problem vs. the pollution in my opinion.  CDioxide is actually in the proper range.  What's not good is the hundreds of miles of plastics floating in the ocean, etc.  The context should be shifted to discuss how we can use technology to clean the planet also....

My friend showed me this a while back.
One of the most epic songs of all time.
Very inspiring peace, and Neil deGrasse Tyson has got a point, in a way.

Sooo, that being said, as much as I agree here. I think, since we are still such a young and unstable species we have plenty of things to figure out before we expand out into space.
But what do I know :P

The latest review of animals and plants by the International Union for Conservation of Nature found the Western Black Rhino, a relative of the Black rhino (pictured), has been totally wiped out.

Good - really clean. responsive-friendly staff. in house restaurant was superb. Bad - you will have to really keep track of your expenses. My bill was full of mistakes on check out. I had to remind the same person twice about what they told me. The first time was a minute after she said it and again when they tried to charge me for it. House keeping did not restock the coffee after the first day, had to ask. There is also no paradox. It used to be a holiday inn. then it was a UCSC dorm for a bit. Bring your own toilet paper. One ply in room. Two ply at the public bathroom on the beach. Maybe there is a paradox. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! - we spent ~300 a night for a room with two queen sized beds during summer vacation.

The flowers are starting to bloom. There are some on the north end and there are flowers in the green houses. But the majority of them are still to come. I got season passes and am excited to go there for walks with my girlfriend.

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Karen Bollinger at Beardsley Mitchell. She handled all of the arrangement's from picking up my father from the county to when we picked up his remains. She was welcoming, comforting, concerned, and informative. She presented us with all of our options in a no pressure manner. I called around for pricing and she was the only one who told me what other expenses I would encounter besides the cost of the cremation itself. I would recommend Beardsley Mitchell in the future.

This will be the 14th consecutive year that I have been going to see Dr. Goldberg. He is adept and jovial. I always enjoy my interactions with him and his staff. He has gone above and beyond for me - once he came back to the office at 8pm to help me. I highly recommend him,
