Great news for xkcd fans! I can also highly recommend the "what if" posts so far.

We won the Regionalliga Nord yesterday and celebrated with plenty of beer, as you can see. Next year: second Bundesliga (and more beer)!

+Péter Hegyi I never got one of those black hoodies. I was also the last on court, and I decided to wear an intimidating Google shirt for the fifth and final set (because the other was drenched in sweat). I did win the the final match, so I guess I could be forgiven, though I got a couple of comments from the patriotic crowd!

This really is so much better than I expected. Not that I'm that into rap these days, but I bought Earl Sweatshirt's album and Kendrick Lamar's and both are really really good.

Interested in getting updates from Dublin's premier Squash event? Follow this page! We'll also be streaming live matches from Thursday onwards.

Our very own Madeline Perry tops the women's draw, and is joined by Ireland's number two, Aisling Blake. The road to the final is tough with several English and Egyptian players set to spoil Irish success - but will we see an Irish winner yet again? #squash #squashtv

In Germany, every kid gets an "Diercke Welt Atlas" when you attend school (actually, you have to buy it). Today I looked at one from 1948, and it's fascinating how different the world was back then. Main things I noticed: Many African countries had completely different names, Korea was still one, Germany was divided into four military occupation zones, Israel was just established, and the Soviet Union was even huger than it is today, Yugoslavia was still there, just like Czechoslovakia.

You'd see even more changes in the same atlas from 1938, not to mention the 1918 version. It's fascinating.

Btw - there's no soviet union today ;-)

I thought you guys, +Matti Leppänen and +Thomas Bering - would enjoy this:

_"Normal English: “You have to mow the lawn”
Death Metal English: “BRING DOWN THE SCYTHE OF GODS UPON THE NECKS OF THE GREEN-RIBBED LEGIONS AND SWEEP AWAY THEIR WRETCHED BODIES; THOU ART IMPLORED BY ME”_

Agree, though this sounds more like something +Colm Keady would say:
Normal English: “I need to take a nap”
Death Metal English: “RIPPED INTO THE UTTER EXHAUSTION OF THE MIDDLE DAY”
