Reasonably priced for the location with large benches and wifi. Their individual drip is great but, weirdly, only served between 1-5pm daily. All the coffee is exceptional. Try the almond friand cubes in the afternoon or the amazing fermented butter toast in the morning.
Cute cafe upstairs in a reclaimed warehouse. Lots of recycled furniture and books create a real feeling of warmth in the cavernous space. The coffee is good and their special french-toast (in 5 or 10 slices) is not to be missed.
Delicious and inventive, the ramen at Thank is served with grilled chicken and a corn soup (potage) broth. There are three styles, each with a range of soup thickness. The tsukemen are particularly good, with thick, chewy noodles and a rich broth. Don't forget to sprinkle ground white sesame and curry powder from the provided containers on top.
A off-the-beaten-track local favourite that does a huge range of cheap hand-made udon. The stand out is definitely the curry-soup udon but any of the styles benefit from the incredibly chewy and delicious noodles.
