No no no no no no no no NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Inspired by Girl Meets World and the persistent, collective longing to regress into an idyllic childhood that never actually existed, ’90s sitcom Full House could be set for a revival. TV Guide reports that Warner Bros. is “mulling a new take” on the series about a widowed father of three girls who

There are loads of benefits to static sites if your clients don't need to add new pages to the site themselves (other than blogging which can be set up quickly)... speed, security, freedom of design. Once you are familiar with the process it's actually really quick to produce a site - quicker than a CMS (unless you just use a template).

I tend to use a mix of tools for doing sites but I'm a bit outside the box :-)

MS Expression Web 4 for building sites (the work flow is a lot quicker than the likes of Dreamweaver and you can see/edit the code as you work although you don't have to actually write it unless you want to) and Adobe Fireworks for graphics as it's really quick and simple to use compared to illustrator and photoshop.

These are both actually discontinued now so I should probably be updating but you spend ages getting slick with these things and they still seem to do the job.

+Jenn Herman has some wise, calming words for any small business owner who is (understandably) overwhelmed by the prospect starting to use social media for business.
You know social media is important but don't know how or where to start on social media for your business. Here's what you need to know!

At least there's one good baseball team in Chicago.
Joshua Houston hit a clutch two-run single, reliever Cameron Bufford pitched a tense scoreless sixth inning and Jackie Robinson West Little League held off gritty Philadelphia 6-5 in a matchup of inner-city teams at the Little League World Series.

Google kills authorship. This was one of the driving forces behind G+ growth. Do you think that G+ will continue to thrive without the authorship carrot?

Sometimes I read that something else, Author Rank, is still 'alive'. Is that true or is that dead too? I liked to see faces in the organic search results...

For +Mike Allton, +Jenn Herman, +Andy Kinsey, +Mark Vang... and pretty much anyone else who has ever run a blog, I give you... comment spam haiku.
I’ve been searching for ways to re-purpose comment spam recently so that I can channel my blinding rage at the inconvenience of dealing with it into something more positive. I wrote an ode to comment spammers recently, but that was…Read more ›

Yeah. I use a Google+ comments plugin and was considering turning off the option to post comments directly via WordPress, but thought I'd give this a whirl first to see if it has any legs.

Oh Facebook, you're up to something again. I can feel it.

Facebook will now reward those who share links using "link format" over those who share a photo then insert a link in a caption. My guide to the changes along with some tips on improving your link format.
Have you been sharing links on Facebook by embedding them in the caption of a photo, rather than letting Facebook turn the link into a "link format" share

+Greg Lam reviews Freshbooks as a small business accounting tool. Check out the comments for an exchange with a not-to-happy representative of Freshbooks.
FreshBooks Accounting Software: If you use FreshBooks for invoicing only, it is a great tool, but It’s not a complete accounting software.

I am the Website Traffic Increaser Guy. I work with small businesses to align business strategy with online presence. So many businesses today are either hazy on what business strategy really is and why it's important, or have websites and social media profiles that are in conflict with their core business strategy. These conflicts can produce confusion among customers and prospects. Once business strategy and online presence are in alignment, marketing becomes a whole lot easier and increased revenues / profits are the result.

We absolutely love this B&B. A beautiful house with impeccable attention to detail, great location in a quaint small town, spectacular food, and the warmest innkeepers you'll find anywhere. Highly recommended.
