I wonder what the motivation for doing this is.  One possibility is that these fans are using comments on Facebook pages to communicate among themselves, a sort of covert channel with a lot of jibberish added as noise.

If that's the case, G+ might not be as suitable, since being in one's circle is more unidirectional than a "like" or "friend" relationship.
