When did you guys turn into a wrestling YouTube channel??? I used to watch you for video game content and now all I ever see is wrestling crap. Sorry.... Meh..... Thought it might stop after a couple episodes, but it seems to be a show theme now. What up?

If you love them than just watch their podcast ftw on machinima every Thursday. They are also bring back top ten ftw to machinima every Tuesday and Saturday. While on this channel, they do their wrestling podcast every Tuesday, and a (not ftw) top ten list once a week.

Heading to Shady Beach (MO) for our annual family camping/rafting/tubing trip.  I hope nobody gets bit by a snake or spider or other monsters "outside".  I hear there's no reload-game-save option in real life.  :(

I watched this all the way through, 4 times, following him while looking at a stack of papers I'd printed out ahead of time, and I think he missed a couple syllables.
Just curious:
Does he read binary too?  :)

* FANTASTIC MUSIC *
You know....I'm pretty sick and tired of these "look at me....I'm playing the guitar 'oh so different' from everyone else" kind of guitar players....especially the typical "CandyRat Records" ilk... <snooze><snooze>
....people who play really fast (aka "shredders") or who instead of 'plucking' the guitar like it was designed to be played, they instead play it from the opposite side of the fret or they "WHACK" it providing an interesting rhythmic technique, or they play it with their feet or their butts or whatever the hell new technique gets them noticed on youtube.
That's kind of cool/interesting....for about, maybe 20-30 seconds.
But, typically, after that I get bored.
Bored, because I don't care about listening to the MUSIC.
The MUSIC is boring.
The TECHNIQUE is fascinating--for a while--but overall the MUSIC is boring.
I always give these folks a listen....seriously....and, with an open mind.
But, 99 times out of 100 I'm disappointed.
Because they're so focused on their TECHNIQUE ("tapping/slapping/smacking/shredding") that they forget that the WHOLE POINT in playing an instrument in the first place is to make music people will LISTEN to...over and over again (if you're lucky).
Personally, I don't care if you're playing it really fast or really slow, or with your fingers, or toes, your nose, or your butt or whatever......
....music is music, for music's sake....because it's something I want to LISTEN to.
I don't care what instrument you play it on, how you play it, how fast it is, or how amazingly impressive your TECHNICAL skillz are...
...if the music is boring, then, whether you like it or not, everything about your performance is boring.
If I'm not compelled to listen to a piece of music over and over and over again...I don't care about it.
This piece, however, by Luca Stricagnoli, called "The Future" is a refreshing mix of interesting/cool "TECHNIQUE", combined with a DAMNED PRETTY piece of music.
One I've listened to probably 30-40 times now as I'm writing these comments.
I wish someone would be as interested in my music as I am in this piece....that's the epitome of musical appreciation.....interest.
Take a listen to this guy...and this piece.
They're both amazing.

I agree Gopher with the "use" statements you made.  As long as somebody lets me know and gives me credit in their video, they can use my music and I'll bow out of the monetization side of it.  <self plug>  :)

I always liked the electric guitar my friend Beaux Dean added onto my piece "Delays Delays".....turned out to be a nice collaboration....(even if purely remote and digital....a good "colab" none-the-less).  :)

Gopher,
Have you considered getting into Patreon?   http://www.patreon.com/ It's a service where you can ask folks to view your videos for a monthly fee....however little or as much as they want, giving you the ability to make more money for all of what you do for the gaming/modding community.
I heard about this through another favorite youtuber of mine, Tyrannicon:
SUPPORT THE CHANNEL & GET REWARDS! (PATREON)

I'm going to subscribe to Tyrannicon because I anxiously await his videos every day.....the same as I do with your videos.
I would DEFINITELY subscribe to your videos if you were on Patreon

.....just a thought.
I think, considering everything that you do, as much time as you spend creating such wonderful content, those of us who are willing to support you, should be able to show our appreciation in some way and even if it's a couple bucks here, a couple of bucks there....if you have a lot of subscribers/supporters, it can make a difference and help you keep doing what you do.
Returns on advertising via youtube, I can only imagine, are doing nothing but dwindling.

It's something to think about.
If you do decide to do this, I'd LOVE to be your first subscriber/supporter!
:)

It's amazing how "humble" you started off doing these videos and how little impact you thought you might have, in fact, never even desired to have that impact....you sought something totally different from the whole endeavor.....yet, for myself and many many others, you've now become a critical part of the modding community as well as the youtube community.  Personally, I think it's because the same thing that drives you to do what YOU do, drives us to watch you do it.....GAMES and MODS and GAMEPLAY.....it's what we all LOVE and we know that what you do COMES from the heart.  That's what makes it all special and what strikes a personal chord with all of your viewers.
It's been said many times, Gopher, but I'll say it yet again.....THANK YOU, SIR for all you've done for this community.  You're greatly appreciated and respected....and you deserve every bit of that.  Relish in it, my friend!  :)

Introduction
Hi! I'm Dan Tharp, a solo acoustic guitar player who plays classical and steel string guitar....but only in my spare time.  I don't make a living as a musician.
I've been playing guitar off and on since I was 13/14 but never could bring myself to perform or record because of "stage fright" and that stupid/crazy voice in my head that keeps telling me I'm not good enough to make a living at it.

So, I pay the bills the old fashioned way (with a real job) and play just for fun.
Well I'm in my 40's now and I've been thinking maybe it's time to get over that and start recording and maybe(?) performing again.

I hope you enjoy the music.
If you do, please pass this site along to your friends!
I'd really like as many people as possible to hear it.
I appreciate any feedback anyone has to offer...good or bad.

Take care!
Dan
