Level of spam seems to be increasing! Is anybody listening?

I am starting to notice more fake forum profiles for some of our clients, clearly not done by them or us.

Since the last few updates spammers seems to think that negative SEO is possible and easy with usual link spam tools. Maybe it works maybe it doesn't - that is not really the point.

The point is that +Google needs to issue a statement or a video confirming that attempts at undoing your competitors rankings through forum, profile and blog spam will not work.

Failure to do so will result in continued increase of link spam which is not good for anybody.

Alternative?

Let us specify which links are spam in Google Webmaster Tools or start parsing spam.txt file where we can specify which links to discount.
