This past weekend, Mrs. Perez and I visited the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico. Hailed as "one of the most distinguished private collections in the Western Hemisphere outside the United States", this beautiful museum did not disappoint and was totally worth the 90 minute drive from our hotel in Rincón.

Rosanne Wills came to Variety Children's Hospital (which then became Miami Children's Hospital and now +Nicklaus Children's Hospital) as a candy-striper back in 1968. Her mother was already a nurse there and after her first week, the children won her over and she became a pediatric nurse just like her mother. A year later, her younger sister Regina also joined her as a nurse and today both their daughters are also nurses at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
Rosanne has served (graced) the hospital as a nurse for 45 years and was recently honored for her service. It was my great pleasure to have been asked to produce a video for this special occasion - and a most remarkable woman. Enjoy...

In recognition of #NationalKidneyMonth (March), I present you with my award-winning short documentary film, "Angels with Shoes" (a Kidney Transplant Story).
The film, which was shot right here in Miami and also in Puerto Rico, tells the inspirational story of a living kidney donation between two cousins.
The film won the 'Best International Documentary' and 'Audience Choice' awards at the 2015 Rincon International Film Festival as well as the 'Best Documentary' award at the 2015 Film Miami Fest.
Enjoy the film (feedback welcome) and please consider becoming an organ donor here > https://www.donatelife.net/register (it only takes a minute and it can save up to 8 lives).
