Sadly, Google is turning Google+ into Google Collections & Communities, and making it harder to use in the process. What we have here now is essentially newsgroups with pictures. Not worth my time...
PS If you want to see a justification for these horrible changes, by a person who has obviously consumed a whole case of Google+ Kool-Aid, read the following post. Bottom line: the real problem is the USERS, not the company! We are so old fashioned and stuck in our ways! Silly us. The great brains at Google have figured out we need these changes for mobile, and so Google can eventually charge us for storage of our stuff like photos (after their advertising revenue collapses), As he stated in at the end of his post about this on Google+, "Unplugging now." So am I... permanently.
