Good news from Bill Gates. Love  stories about positive trends for the world.
There’s no doubt that 2014 was a tough year. But Bill Gates looks back at some of the bright spots—including saving more children’s lives, making a breakthrough on TB, and hitting a big milestone in the fight against AIDS.

Having strange resolution issues on windows 8.1 where some apps are blurry or have resolution related scaling issues? This is a result of Windows 8.1's new high-DPI scaling feature. Best solution is to go to Display under Control Panel and select "Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays"

This may be my next laptop. Lenovo nails all that I want. Larger high res screen and dedicated trackpoint buttons in thin ultrabook format. Though I would probably prefer the T550 version - don't need the crazy gpu and dedicated numpad.

+Ryan Sullivan the nub is fantastic. You are talking about the trackpoint, right? This week I heard it called the cat's tongue. Ha.
Happy the buttons are getting split out again on the next version.

My first thought at the 6" Nexus 6 was that it's too big. I've always felt 5.5" is the sweet spot. But if you compare it to the iPhone 6 Plus, they are about the same size due to the iPhone's large bezel.
Click the "View Layered" button on Phone Arena to see the difference.

Finally setup an easily adjustable sit/stand desk. After years of looking, found Ergotron which integrates well with my existing desk.

Expensive, but not as expensive as a full sit/stand desk, so overall I'm happy with them
