We finally had our pictures for the drawing room framed. I flipping love them... The two large posters were my wonderful late Mum's, the smaller ones are from +Royal Pavilion & Brighton Museums shop, limited prints by fantastic artist Kelly Hall.

This pub is OK, it isn't my favourite pub in town but I would happily include this on a Fleet Street crawl (well worth doing!) On the plus side, from the exterior it looks like a real old London pub and the inside has a pubby feel although slightly faux Victorian era. Food is very average.

The Angel does indeed feel like a pub, which is silly I know, because it is! The staff are grumpy, the beer is well kept (although Sam Smiths) and the bar snacks are over-priced, what isn't to like? They have some really cosy rooms upstairs, and if you arrive early, you could occupy an entire room with your crowd. People are divided over Sam Smith pubs but I think they are quite unique. Try this place.

I used to drink here around 4/5 times a week whilst working in an office close by. Then is was then a fantastic pub. However around 3 years ago they had a referb and whilst isn't isn't *that bad*, it did lose some magic. I was particularly miffed recently when I was offered table service for a beer... in a pub?! That said, a great selection of drinks and nice friendly staff.

Just Mango Tree ins't a bad curry house for this area of London. I did visit a few years ago and had a better experience but all in all it serves a great variety of indian dishes. I tend to stick to a dhansak for my curry and tbh, it wasn't that great here.. I've had far better. That said, the atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly and the starters were amazing.

The Punch & Judy is a nice tourist London pub. It has a great balcony offering a fine view of the Covent Garden street performers down below (who do come up after for donations so get those pennies out!!) I have fond memories standing out here on a summer afternoon watching the world go by. Well worth a visit.

Monmouth Coffee is honestly the best cup of joe you'll find in London. The location is small and quaint and you'll usually queue for a caffeine fix, but my goodness it is well worth the wait. Friendly and very informative staff makes this the perfect place to grab a pre-work latte.

We've started using this pub at lunch times and it isn't bad at all. The staff are friendly enough and they have a good selection of ales, lager and wines. Had food a few months ago- its your regular pub grub but wasn't anything fancy. I do like the mix of museum goers and local office workers in here. Good boozer.
