The new website is now live at the link below! It's taken a lot of effort, and like all web pages, it's a constant work in progress, but I'm happy to let the world view it now

Introducing Google+ Collections, a new way to group your posts by topic

Our happiest Google+ users are those who connect with others around shared interests and passions. So we set out to give people a place to express the things they love. Today, we’re announcing Google+ Collections, a new way to group your posts by topic.

Every collection is a focused set of posts on a particular topic, providing an easy way for you to organize all the things you’re into. Each collection can be shared publicly, privately, or with a custom set of people. Once you create your first collection, your profile will display a new tab where other people can find and follow your collections.

Posts in collections you follow will appear in your Home stream, with a link to easily jump right into the collection so you can get to similar content from that author. Collections give you a great way to find more of the stuff you love from the people you follow.

Collections is available on Android and the web, and iOS is coming later. For Android users, make sure to update your Google+ app to get access to Collections.

For inspiration on interesting topics, check out our Featured Collections page here: g.co/collections

Create your collections today and share what you love.

Bloody good tour. Oh, you want more? Um, bloody great tour even when the weather's rubbish? In all seriousness this has been the best couple of days of my time in the UK, and I've done a lot. Craig, our driver, kept the moments on the road interesting with stories and tidbits of information. Bottom was boring, and the history was well delivered and fascinating. Everything ran on time with perfect timing, right down to the conclusion of his story on Mary Queen of Scots. I'll leave you to find out why. These guys are well worth it if you want a well organised tour through Scotland.

Busy night here tonight with many groups turned away for up to an hour. I know it's probably been along day, but the girl working there could've handled it with a little more decorum. The poor customers coming in didn't know it was the twentieth time she'd been through the routine. The food itself was quite good, so no issues there. The other waiting staff were friendly and helpful, but I didn't stay for extras

Dropped in here after arriving in Glasgow for a quick dinner before heading out. Had a brilliant beef pie with mash and beans, and it was just what the doctor ordered. Typed off with a coffee I was set. Nice central location, but you'll miss out of your not looking for it. Mostly cakes and sandwiches, but you'll find something more substantial if you need it. Well, I'm off to explore!

We ate in the bistro up top, which was set out like an indoor garden. The staff were very friendly, and we had a good chat with a kiwi lass that was working here. The meal, although expensive, was large and delicious. I was completely satisfied at the end. We adjourned to the downstairs lounge to enjoy tea and coffee. This is a beautiful old style English hotel in a beautiful part of the country. It's not your usual pub faire and is a little more upper class. Well worth it for a piece of history and a nice haddock.

While it won't fill your whole day, it's worth coming to for sure. Bring the kiddies as well, they'll have a ball. Beautifully laid out with an excellent cross section of various types of transport throughout Glasgow's history. My absolute favourite was seeing Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman's bikes from Long Way Down. I'll admit, I did a little girly "squee". Out the back is the mast ship Glenlee, another free attraction. Buy a guide book on the way in to show your support though. A little out of the way, but this museum had won awards for a reason. Don't delay, check it out.

Bloody good feed. We came on pie night specifically to have Yorkshire pudding. I wasn't disappointed. Freshly made and delicious proper Yorkshire pudding. Two of them! With gravy! Rock on. For mains it was cottage pie, which was like shepherds pie and really hot, but excellent. I finished off with a port and was rolled out of the front door. What a top night out.

This accommodation is provided for serving members and provides a cheap place to stay right across the road from Waterloo Station. The room I stayed in was mess-like with a single bed, sink and shared amenities. There is a restaurant downstairs with fantastic food at an affordable price. WiFi is also provided, and unlike most hotels is fast and reliable. Of you're in the military, this is the place to stay in London.
