I like how the homeless version is just dressed the way I dress erryday.

I'd much rather make 7 mistakes and 3 wins in a day than make progress on one big win. Consistent base hits win more games than homeruns.

Simplify!
Here’s an idea. Why not get rid of all the pain and wasted money with elections and replace them with ballot boxes that only accept money. Want to be a Senator? Pay the most money and you can have the seat. This is just like the system we have, except more honest There is basically [...]

Canvas influences medium and we have an infinite canvas.
I once did a training on the mobile web and I handed out all kinds of funny shaped “scrap paper” and asked the participants to design an ad. Of course, I didn’t tell them what the real test was. I made lots of oddly shaped paper scraps because the real test was how does the [...]

Its too bad I'll probably never get the chance to do any of these things. #relativity   #space
There are tons of really fun thought experiments with relativity. Here are a few of my favorites. If you find any errors please mention it! Flying at the speed of light and shooting a laser ahead of you Lets say you could fly at the speed of light (impossible but it makes the thought experiment [...]

This one may need a part 2.
Jack and the Beanstalk It’s ok to make crazy stupid decisions as long as it ends with you breaking into a private home, stealing, and murdering the home owner. Rapunzel Beautiful hair is the only thing that can save you from a dreary life at home. Red Riding Hood I have no idea, don’t be [...]

I have an idea. #dev
When an app is released and people love it, they buy it and everyone is happy right? Well no, because there are bugs, and people want extra features, and the dev didn’t have a chance to build all the things they wanted. They keep working and make a new version. Now there are a bunch [...]

Tough to speculate. #machines   #futurism
Or, what is the next great age? The great ages have moved from iron, bronze, steel, (skip a few), industrial, chemical, and silicon/internet. Certainly the internet isn’t done and it will impact every future age just like past ages are built-in to ours. But what’s next? There’s no way to know and every guess will [...]

I guess I shouldn't say the app isn't awesome. It just has a few quirks that lacked the attention to detail I saw in every other aspect of their service.
I heard about Uber a few years ago and have been itching to try it ever since. Everytime I visited a town without a car I’d reinstall the app and check to see if Uber was there. Finally, this last week in San Diego I hit paydirt. I first took a ride in the black [...]

Basically inedible. I came here after the recommendation of a friend and they are no longer a friend. we had "spicy" Noddles which looked great but had no flavor. I ordered beef and was given a pile of disgusting fat trimmings. I'll post a picture. it was awful.

I've tried Popeye's a few times over the years and always been disappointed. This Popeye's, however, has been very good every time. They can be a little slow but its worth it when you get good chicken that's hot out of the whatever they use to cook it. Juicy, tender, crispy; perfect! I love Cain's chicken but since they don't have a location in Utah this is a pretty good substitute. The staff is always very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy what they're doing. Its very refreshing. I really appreciate their chipper attitude after listening to a lot bored fast food employee's at other restaurants.

I had a car breakdown on July 3rd and had it towed to the little garage. They were very friendly but they said they wouldn't have time to fix it before the long weekend. I told them I would come pick it up.. When I arrived they had been able to diagnose that a sensor was bad. I told them i planned on doing the repair myself and they were friendly in offering advice. They even stayed late and offered to let me borrow some tools. Great guys! The price for the diagnostic was totally fair.

My review is for the café/grill only. Like many visitors to Cabela's I noticed the cafe many times and thought it looked good. Elk burgers? Buffalo? Yes please! But the cafe is not worth stopping for. While the french fries are great the rest is forgettable and overpriced. I knew we were in trouble when I ordered a burger from the "grill" and they pulled a pre-cooked patty out of a warming tray. Not sure why they call the place a grill because they didn't grill anything for me. For a $9 burger I thought they would grill it and it would look nice. Nope. I ordered bacon to try to liven it up but they only put a single small piece of bacon on there. Any other burger place would be much better. 5 Guys, In-and-out, really any other place would be better. The worst part is that I went there with some work colleagues at my insistence. Now I'll never live down bad choice!

I've been to the vision center twice in the last four years to get a prescription for glasses and then for contacts. The doc was just fine. He did the eye exam very quickly, he answered all my questions and he taught me how to put in my lenses. I'd assumed from the reviews that he must be some kind of monster but nope. Just a professional doctor. My new contacts are great and it wasn't expensive. No complaints.
