I like how the homeless version is just dressed the way I dress erryday.

I'd much rather make 7 mistakes and 3 wins in a day than make progress on one big win. Consistent base hits win more games than homeruns.

I have an idea. #dev
When an app is released and people love it, they buy it and everyone is happy right? Well no, because there are bugs, and people want extra features, and the dev didn’t have a chance to build all the things they wanted. They keep working and make a new version. Now there are a bunch [...]

Tough to speculate. #machines   #futurism
Or, what is the next great age? The great ages have moved from iron, bronze, steel, (skip a few), industrial, chemical, and silicon/internet. Certainly the internet isn’t done and it will impact every future age just like past ages are built-in to ours. But what’s next? There’s no way to know and every guess will [...]

I guess I shouldn't say the app isn't awesome. It just has a few quirks that lacked the attention to detail I saw in every other aspect of their service.
I heard about Uber a few years ago and have been itching to try it ever since. Everytime I visited a town without a car I’d reinstall the app and check to see if Uber was there. Finally, this last week in San Diego I hit paydirt. I first took a ride in the black [...]

Simplify!
Here’s an idea. Why not get rid of all the pain and wasted money with elections and replace them with ballot boxes that only accept money. Want to be a Senator? Pay the most money and you can have the seat. This is just like the system we have, except more honest There is basically [...]

Canvas influences medium and we have an infinite canvas.
I once did a training on the mobile web and I handed out all kinds of funny shaped “scrap paper” and asked the participants to design an ad. Of course, I didn’t tell them what the real test was. I made lots of oddly shaped paper scraps because the real test was how does the [...]

Its too bad I'll probably never get the chance to do any of these things. #relativity   #space
There are tons of really fun thought experiments with relativity. Here are a few of my favorites. If you find any errors please mention it! Flying at the speed of light and shooting a laser ahead of you Lets say you could fly at the speed of light (impossible but it makes the thought experiment [...]

This one may need a part 2.
Jack and the Beanstalk It’s ok to make crazy stupid decisions as long as it ends with you breaking into a private home, stealing, and murdering the home owner. Rapunzel Beautiful hair is the only thing that can save you from a dreary life at home. Red Riding Hood I have no idea, don’t be [...]

Truly beautiful and wonderful hotel. The rooms are very nice and they have modern TVs. The décor is rad all around and really refreshing. They do a lot to make it fun and unique. For example, it's winter now and they've converted one of the pools into an ice skating rink. I found the engineer and had a nice chat with him about how they cool it.

Bought my car here, good staff. They work with San Mateo Credit Union and I really like that credit union. Update: Since buying my Honda Odessey here I've been keeping up with the maintenance and have to knock off a star. If the purchase experience wasn't so great they'd be down to 2 stars. The service department feels like a ripoff. Everytime I get an oil change they try to push a very expensive "check-in" that is not on my cars maintenance schedule. $495 to do what? Check my belts? Is this a joke? A maintenance light turned on recently so while I was getting an oil check I asked them to check it out. I should have Googled it first. They charged me $95 to tell me a sensor needed to be replaced. Then they wanted to charge over $200 to replace it when other garages nearby offered to replace it for $80 cheaper. What really bugs me about the sensor and that whole experience is that the service rep told me he'd give me a discount (he didn't, nor did he apply the oil change coupon i gave him) and the sensor is a well known issue. The TPMS light typically means the battery in your tire pressure sensor is dead. They die every 5-7 years. I didn't know this when I asked them to look at it, they happily charged me $95 to pull the error code from my car and then offered to fix it for an additional $200. So let's keep track, I went to get an oil change, they tried to upsell me on a useless $495 service, then they charged me $95 to diagnose a problem that should have been free to tell me about, and then they wanted to charge above market rates for the repair. I'm so mad thinking about it that I think I won't buy my next car there. There are too many crooked mechanics out there and I had hoped Honda RWC was different. They're not.

Not a big fan. Prices are ok but not amazing and it's a bit tough to find good stuff.

Took care of my tires without a fuss. Worried a bit that I might not be getting a good deal.

Great doctor, good experience. I had some confusion about the costs and if I could do it again i would ask to see a bill before hand. It ended up being more than I expected just because I didn't understand the different costs. Still, I would recommend this Optometrist. They have a good selection of glasses, the doctor was very friendly and took the time to explain things to me and help me understand exactly what she was doing and why. I'm very happy with the result, both for glasses and contacts. Street parking is usually decent. I rode my bike and they invited me to park it inside.
