Not like the idea to modernize the prince with the new princess, but the original tale must prevale times!

Great to see this out there --- bringing a great smartphone experience to everyone with #AndroidOne.
Meet #AndroidOne : A Phone with a Philosophy.

The world is filled with potential.
People who are ready to leave their mark, and have fun doing it.
They’re smart, and hopeful and they’re everywhere.
They can change anything.
They just need their tools to be as ambitious as they are.
So they can get out there and do everything.
Create, listen, learn, explore, collaborate, speak, dance, and dance some more.
And share it all along the way.
There are millions who have the rest of their lives ahead of them.
It’s scary, how exciting that is.
So we’re introducing a phone that empowers people, instead of holding them back.
A phone with a philosophy.
Ready for it?

Finally!  Enjoy this everyone!
Today we're releasing the Google Now Launcher for all devices that run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and higher.

The Google Now Launcher gives you a home screen that's clean, simple and customizable. One swipe leads to Google Now cards, bringing you the right information at just the right time. Tapping the search box or saying "Ok Google" lets you ask a question or search the web. And of course, you can easily add your favorite apps, widgets and wallpaper.

To see the Google Now Launcher in action or to give it a try, check it out on Google Play:

I love playing around with the #GoogleNowLauncher but there is just something about the insane customizations for #NovaLauncherPro  that can't be beat.  The joy of #Android  though, choices!

PARIS—Following the fatal terrorist attack Wednesday at the offices of French newspaper Charlie Hebdo, sources confirmed this afternoon that it is sadly not yet clear whether this very article will ultimately put human lives at risk.

A warm, wonderful, and talented human being has left us, and I offer my condolences to everyone that loved him.   #RobinWilliams

From Walt:
                         But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
                                  Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
                         Here Captain! dear father!
                            This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
                                 You’ve fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
                            But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
                                  Fallen cold and dead.

Learn step-by-step how to build an Android app

Earlier this month, Google launched a free course on Developing Android Apps ( in collaboration with +Udacity. +Reto Meier, +Dan Galpin, and I teach you how to think like a mobile developer in this course. The best part? You learn by doing. We apply best practices to building the Sunshine app together step-by-step. Read more at

I come here to tell you that you should review 4a and 4b (your parts) of the course. A lot of people use this word "sucks"

Please take a look and please review

From me, please stop "quickly scrolled over". It is quite painful.

I'm excited about this launch.
At Google I/O, we introduced some new features to give you insight into how your app is performing and scale your app publishing. Today we're announcing that the Google Play Developer Publishing API is now available to all developers.

The Publishing API lets you upload APKs to Beta testing, Staged rollout and Production, and integrate publishing operations with your release processes and toolchain. The Publishing API also makes it easier for you to manage your in-app products catalog, provide tablet-specific screenshots, and localize your store listing text and graphics.

You’ll also want to try these other tools for gaining insight into your apps:

Alerts in the Developer Console to let you know when there are sudden changes in important stats like app installs, ratings, and crashes. You can now turn on email notifications for Alerts.

New Optimization Tips highlight opportunities to improve your app, such as when updated versions of APIs you use are available.

With Enhanced revenue statistics you can now see the average revenue per paying user (ARPPU), compare the number of returning buyers to new buyers, and more.

Bulk export of reviews lets you download and analyze your app’s reviews using your own tools.

Improved stats for beta releases and staged rollouts let you look at stats specifically for your alpha, beta, or staged rollouts to better understand their impact.

Check out the post below for details on these and other new features in Google Play.

Congrats to everyone that launched today.  Android Wear has become a useful part of my daily routine, and this just makes it more awesome.
Apps for Android Wear launching today!
A collection of apps for Android Wear is now available on Google Play (

In addition to notifications bridged from the phone, Android Wear allows developers to write code that runs directly on the wearable. Nearly all the APIs Android developers are already familiar with are accessible on the wearable allowing fully customized UI, reading sensors directly, integrating with voice actions, and sharing data between the phone or tablet and the wearable.

We've worked with some friends to create some great early Android Wear integrations.  Please take a look through this photo album for more inspiration and start extending your app for Android Wear today!

A tasty fast healthy inexpensive take on Asian fusion cuisine. Spring rolls, Sandwiches, Noodle Bowls, and Salad Bowls. Boba and milk teas. Espresso and Vietnamese coffee. Great service. And... real Asian shaved ice for dessert (which if you haven't had it before it's a real treat.). This place is a winner.
