Who is LeEco?
Well first off they were formerly LeTV. The name change is so recent the phone is technically the LeTV Le 1 Pro but might as well get with the times. Anyways, LeEco is pretty much the Netflix of China. They have a whole bunch of things to stream on the phone. They also manufacturer TVs and Streaming boxes from what I can tell. From what I've read online it sounds like they are planning on making their push into the US at some point this year? Could be wrong on that too who knows.
Due to the fun of being a Chinese phone I'm going to judge this phone mainly on it's hardware at first and may do one of the software later. This phone has a very solid build nice metal reminds me a bit of an iPhone a bit of Samsung and a little bit of HTC. It has the mute switch from the iPhone which I love that was always one of my favorite features of that phone I never got on Android. The speakers are pretty loud I can definitely rock out in my office a bit better at a lower volume compared to my Moto X. While the Moto X may have 2 speakers this 1 speaker beats it hands down. It does have a USB-C for the hardware which is good/bad at this venture in time mainly because it is a pain in the ass having to carry around an adapter which is provided and so is a USB-C cable. It has dual sim which is awesome because I can throw my fi sim card (it reads fi as T-Mobile) in there and my t-mobile one and get calls on each number and texts as well so it just makes life simpler. The camera takes fantastic photos I'll post more from it later but right now you can look at my dinner from tonight. The biggest flaw in the hardware in my eyes is the fact that there is hardware buttons on the bottom as opposed to the normal android software buttons. They also took the liberty of switching them around the back button is on the right and the recent apps button is on the left. It has been a week with this phone and there is still much more to say but I'll cut it short this time. Feel free to ask question in the comments. Point is I'm mainly liking it with some big exceptions on the software side though. More on that soon.
They do, it's kinda hefty though.
I've never actually used one, but they come highly recommended in the INSTEON space.
