Video: Finger pointing begins after oil spills into English Bay http://ow.ly/LrI3N
Work crews cleaned up about half the 2,800 litres of oil polluted English Bay Thursday. However, the source of the spill is still under investigation while the extent of impact has yet to be determined.

I haven't checked the facts.  But, if this is true, this would be an example of how businesses are not applying the law correctly.  this is outright discrimination and that restaurant should be investigated.

It's blatent satire. Grohl is vegetarian, and certainly wouldn't run a mall hot dog kiosk.

“The vast majority of people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression are not likely to do anything violent and never will.”

Hence I am suspicious whenever something like this blamed on depression.
News reports are focusing on the Germanwings pilot's possible depression, following a familiar script in the wake of mass killings. But the evidence shows violence is extremely rare among the mentally ill.

Why isn't media covering this? This is going to completely change our banking system if they win.

Pointing the huge scam the bank of Canada is pulling off which involves the private banks.  Basically BOC issues bonds to private banks.  Private banks then lend money to BOC to print money at a high interest.   then the BOC collects taxes from the public to pay for the interest; the bankers pockets get fat and probably politicians too.  So, they're suing to get this whole system changed so they stop ripping the public off.   Why doesn't the BOC just lend money to the public at 0.1 interest rate, and control the money that's printed themselves?  Why involve the banks at all?  The video doesn't talk about it, but the US Federal reserve is worse than this and has little to no chance of getting changed which will further bankrupt the american public.

Law is very complex and it's not what we often think.  While this is a supreme court decision in the US and i'm not sure if there are similar examples in Canada, this is an example of how a police officer can shoot to injure and use deadly force.   I learned something new today.

Been doing some studies using Goldingay's commentaries and writings and it's been a blessing!  It's great to watch these videos to get to know the man behind the words.   Thank you John!

Only watched a third of the movie.  The clothing and sets look beautiful.
My problem with the movie is that Jesus is portrayed as a nice guy, and unsure what he's doing most of the time.
It's the greatest story ever told. But how it’s told makes all the difference. For the first time ever, experience the life of Jesus and the events that led to his crucifixion from the unique perspectives of his followers and his adversaries.

Interesting and some good arguments.  Worth reading.  In particular,  the last one about baking a Nazi cake.

I read this article, and the following statement really hits the nail on the head.

"A wedding vendor who chooses not to service a same-sex wedding is not discriminating against a person’s being. Instead, the vendor believes that material cooperation in a particular event encroaches on his conscience."

We must separate the person from the event. Same as Christians should separate the sin from the sinner.

obviously i'm not a woman, so I won't go into the reasons why its a good idea.  so hotels or restaurants that don't allow children, and golf clubs that require a $10,000 membership should all be eliminated.   We're going to be closing a lot of businesses.

Stayed in the cabins at the resort. Rooms were clean (house keeping cleans them daily). The cabins had full showers and clean towels. Full furnished kitchens (the dishwasher seemed to run forever though). The park, the mountain views and the lake are beautiful. Make sure you bring bug spray. Great place to relax.
