Clearly the "Don't talk to strangers" message doesn't work. Makes me wonder how we can teach teens to stay safe in the digital world. I personally find the demonstrations abusive, and find them heart breaking. The "experiment" is effective in illustrating the intended point, but seems really mean and traumatic as a means of teaching the girls to be safe. I'm not an expert on teenage brains but I'm not convinced that this will teach Tweens to stay safe online, nor does it provide support for parents to do so. So now, how do we move past the fear that this video is sure to create in many parents?
New Yorker Coby Persin, 21, chatted up three young girls, aged 12, 13, and 14, by pretending to be a 15-year-old who lived nearby. They all agreed to meet him when their parents weren't around.

Online Learning: The course of Baha'i History worldwide from then to now, beginning August 15. Bahá’í History, 1863-2015, will explore the major themes of Baha’i history from Baha’u’llah’s exile from Baghdad to the second decade of the twenty-first century, emphasizing the development of the Baha’i Faith over the last century and a half. We will cover the period from 1863 to the end of Baha’u’llah’s life in 1892; the ministry of ‘Abdu’l-Baha (1892-1921); the ministry of Shoghi Effendi (1921-57); the ministry of the custodians (1957-63); the period from the election of the Universal House of Justice to the end of the twentieth century (1963-96); and the period marking a new direction http://www.cvent.com/events/baha-i-history-1863-2011/event-summary-2fe5b51709c346fd8e7c8ebabe447b4f.aspx

When I went to see Neil deGrasse Tyson, one of the parts of his lecture were about how countries put things that are important to them on their money. He showed examples of many countries that put scientists, inventions, and even mathematical equations on their money. It makes me kind of sad that the only scientist on U.S. currency isn't on there for the fact that he was a scientist.
