I don't what it is about the Abbott government, they just don't get it. "I know let's drop some bombs, that'll fix the refugee crisis". Syrian refugees are caught between an evil regime (Assad) and a bunch of militant islamists (Isis) who are also fighting each other. The situation is complex and cannot be fixed by easily. Dropping bombs is not going to help, really.

It's unreal how the Australian Mafia managed to buy a visa from Amanda Vanstone. We really don't want to turn into the US.

Looks like we're going to get this unbelievable data retention law. Just remember the govt may not be listening to your call, but they know you have made it, who you talked to and how long you talked for. Bit like installing a camera in the toilet for the government.

This feels like a total re-run of the asylum seeker debate of 10 years ago. It took years to finally get the Howard govt to see sense, now we are going to have to go through it all again with the Abbott govt.

This is a worry - I am particularly concerned about elderly people who currently do not have the internet - so they don't think the NBN affects them.

Had a great meeting yesterday with my account management team from ‪#‎NBNCo‬: Sam Stern, Andrew Walther and Mark Altamore. We went through the entire onboarding process and we have decided to aim for end of March to be directly connected to the NBN! The feedback I got from them is that ‪#‎launtel‬ are pursuing a unique business model: very high engagement with my business clients, including project managing the entire ‪#‎NBN‬ transition process. http://nbnsurvival.info
