It's nearly time to vote in Skellefteå and I'm fairly embarrassed to say this, but I've not taken it that seriously in the past. I've voted, but mostly without much thought or real consideration.
So this year, I've stopped off at the square and picked up the local manifesto for each party. And I'm doing my best to digest what each one has to say.
The thing is, each one is pretty much telling me what I want to hear, so I'm going to email people and ask for help in understanding what these political parties are actually achieving at a local level and what they really stand for.
But I thought, I'd put it here too. I'm also not really expecting much feedback on Google+ or Twitter, but you never know and I would like it.
But I also know that Swedes, in general, don't want to publicly talk about politics, so I'm probably chasing a ghost, expecting anything in a public setting and online.
But what I'd like to know is what the manifesto isn't telling me and I'd like links and examples. If you have any .. please comment.
