You have a picture of Romo. I don't get it.

Austin's first start...I remember that. I don't know if it was top 25 of franchise history, but it was a great play.

THATS A LOT OF GOOD PLAYERS KEEP IT UP

If that's only #23, I can't wait for #1!!!

Since our Maverick Fucked up Royally with that POS traitor Derron Williams, the Cowboys HAVE to pull through for me or I'll have no choice but to become a water polo fan!!

romo superbowl this year please im tired of hearing people at my school talk about green bay, giants and all the other teams shut those people up

The only QBs that threw fewer INTs last season than Romo was Rodgers and Alex Smith. That doesnt show recklessness in my book. Rodgers was a machine and Smith just rarely threw the ball.

Being that he all too often has to win games with very little or no help from the defense, special teams, offensive line, running game, coaching staff and unreliable WRs, he has to take a lot of risk, cause if he don't they would be win less.. The other QBs that are always rated and praised ahead of him (Brees, E. Manning, Brady, Rodgers & Big Ben) all at the very least have good O-Lines, Coaches and Defense. Neither of which Romo has. I think the guy does a good job for the crap he has to work with.

Tony Romo is a great quarterback!! He can be one of the greatest if he could just get that offensive line to protect him.  Get a great front line and you'll have a Superbowl team.

Danny Stevens is Tony romos #1 fan!!! ~

people still on th giants game at my school yes he throw a pick but didnt we still beat th so called superbowl champs(nothing to say)

who is the fairy wearing #9?  count the super bowl rings on his fingers? i guess he doesn't like jewelry.  trophy, see new york city.

510 yards passing.  twice as much as his brother and eli won, negative for the old manning. loser and washed up.

go COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PEOPLE CAN WE LOOK AT REALITY, PLEASE.  ELI MANNING IS THE BEST QB IN FOOTBALL.  HE HOLDS CURRENT SUPER BOWL TROPHY RIGHT?  ROMO COULD NOT WEAR ELI'S JOCK-STRAP.    GAME OVER. 800 YARDS PASSING, LAST 2 GAMES.
BOTH VICTORIES.    GO TAMPA BAY.

THE ONLY TROPHY A COWBOY HAS IS, EMMITT SMITH, HE WON ONE ON, DANCING WITH THE STARS.

BEING A COWBOY FAN, IS LIKE HAVINGA
WET DREAM. YOU WAKE UP AND IT WAS STILL, ONLY A DREAM, GONE BAD.

So, by your theory, Eli is better than Dan Marino, Steve Young, Roger Staubach, Doug Williams, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton, Ken Stabler? I take nothing from Eli. As a matter of fact I like the guy. I defended him when Giants fans wanted to run him out of town and I'm a Cowboys fan, but I'm a football fan first and give credit where it's due. Eli is underappreciated and I remember Giants fans can calling the guy every name in the book. Why? Because most football fans are just spectators of action. But to be honest, the single biggest catalyst for the Giants success isn't even Eli. It's Tom Coughlin. It was he, who brought discipline to the team. He brought structure, a plan and strategy that Eli could prosper under. Remember, football is a team sport, it's not golf. QBs don't block for themselves. They don't catch their own balls. They don't run routes. They don't play defense or special teams. Bradshaw couldn't win till Pittsburgh got some guys to go get the ball. Staubach couldn't win till they got a home run hitter in the backfield, same thing with Troy. Eli couldn't win until they got someone that knew how to put a team together, teach and strategize. I know these days QBs are measured by super bowls but any knowledgeable person knows this is extremely misleading. Look at it like this. By your theory, Jim McMahon, Jeff Hostetlor, Brad Johnson, Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer are all better than Jim Kelly and Warren Moon? If you hold to your theory that they are better because the previous ones won SBs and the latter two didn't, then somebody need to put those dudes guys in the hall of fame and take Kelly and Moon out. Sounds absurd didn't it. You wanna know why Romo hasn't won a SB yet, look at the pedigree of coaches that have won SBs, now look at Jason Garrett. Look at Romos stats, then look at the rest of the teams stats.
Just for a little emphasis on my point... Look at Eli's numbers, then look at the rest of the Giants numbers, Eli had a strong, productive team around him.

You wanna ridicule a Cowboy, take your pick. But I can tell you this...
It's not Romo's fault Dez can't run a route, Miles stay hurt, Oline can't block, Garrett don't like running plays, defense can't get QB pressure, can't cover, can't stop RBs, special teams can't function, Owner can't spot talent. But then again, maybe your right, a QB still should overcome all those obstacles regardless to be considered a good QB. Just like Eli was a bum at one time...
till Tom came to town.

ELI IS THE BEST ON THE PLANET, IN THE PRESENT.
NOT 2001 LIKE COWBOY FANS ARE DESPERATELY CLINGING TO.  TODAY, REALITY. HIS INDEX FINGER HAS A 2012 SUPER BOWL RING ON IT. HOW RECENT IS THAT?

NO TRASH TALK, JUST HARD WARE, LOCATED IN THE BIG APPLE. HAS DALLAS BEAT THE N.Y. GIANTS IN THEIR OWN STADIUM, YET? ASK JERRY JONES.

Haha... how recent was that beat down Romo put on him, uh.... mmmm... three weeks. Yea that's present, current, up to date... lol

Haven't beat the Giants in the stadium yet but they sure have smacked them around 52 times compared to the Giants 37

ARTURO,
YOU ARE UP TO DATE NOW.  STILL NOTHING.
YOU REALLY BLOW AWAY THE COMPETITION.
ROMO HAS NO TOUCH ON THE BALL, THIS IS
WHY HE WILL NEVER SEE A SUPER BOWL RING.
                 ROMO HAS NO SKILLS.

As I said before, it's a team sport, not golf. So with that being said, when are you gonna give Tom Coughlin the credit he deserves? He's the true difference. You obviously forgot about the pre-Coughlin Eli. Eli has never outplayed Romo head to head (that's fact). The rest of the Giants outplayed the rest of the cowboys, do some research if you dare. You cracks me up! Lol

arturo,
PLEASE ASK TOM COUGHLIN YOUR QUESTION.
WE OPERATE GOOD WHEN ALL PHASES OF THE GIANT'S FOOTBALL UNIT IS PLAYING IN SYNC. ELI RUNS THE SHOW.  LET'S THROW THE ROCK DOWN THE FIELD.  HARDWARE LOCATED IN NEW YORK CITY. SEE YA.

And who put it all together? Why wasn't Eli doing it from day one. Like I said, I remember when you giants fans called Eli every name in the book before Tom got there, now y'all sucking what he pee thru, lol. Y'all wanted him ran out of town. Y'all didn't recognize his talent in the beginning just as most fans can't recognize anything beyond win and loose, thank God for Tom huh. And you still haven't giving the man credit, wow.
I also noticed your two step around the fact Eli has never outplayed Romo. It's cool though, I like Eli. He's a good guy and helluva player. It's a good thing for him Tom whipped the rest of the team in shape or he would understand what Romo has to deal with. Yup... Audi, G

Oh, I don't need to ask that of Tom. History speaks for itself. It's real simple... Tom was successful with every QB he had. Eli wasn't successful with every coach..... add it up son.

Looking for a new quarterback next year.  Romo has thrown an interception in every game this season.

+Douglas Willey most of them weren't his fault. Even the analyst on NFL network broke it down as to what the problem is. As for the Bmore game, Ogletree got facemasked. just after the ball was thrown which threw him off his route and caused the pick.

I say go spend some money on an offensive line and a coach that knows how to run an offense

get rid of homo so we can get another super bowl win if you ask me.

+Luke Gearheard Will Jason magically turn into a smart coach? What about the oline, what you gonna do about that? Get another QB and all of a sudden they turn into nate Newton and Larry Allen? Get a new qb and your defense won't give up 25 points in the second half anymore right? It amazes me how people really don't watch what's going on. Ask Eli would he trade his situation for Romo. Would Brady trade his oline for Romo's. Would Rodgers trade his WR for the cowboys WR? Romo is surrounded by idiots.

Jerry Jones can't pick talent, Jason Garrett can't coach. Romo wins inspite of the junk around him. Guy has to tell WRs where to line up at every single play... wtf?

Tony is one of the good players on our team, along with Jason, Demarco, Jay, and Demarcus. These are the players who actually play the game.

I'm a life long cowboys fan and I even know that tony romo cannot play the game 5 interceptions in the first half is crap. It's not even the offensive lines fault they need a new QB that can actually bring the offensive line together. Romo is good but just not with the offensive line the only reason a lot of the catches are made is because Witten and Austin know how to play

Arturo carter have you ever played football if you have well you must of sucked and didn't understand if you have a QB that doesn't know how to lead then your screwed. Romo is a prime example he can't lead and he can't go a game without an interception. The defensive line is one of the best in the league by the way they always have them covered and most times then not have QB pressure. Take the best QB and the best offensive line against our defense they will have the hardest game of there life because our defense is amazing. Learn about football and actually watch a game instead of probably watching highlights then start talking

165 TDs & 141 Ints
158 TDs & 85 Ints

Guess which is Tony and which is Troys, come on, your a smart guy, take a shot.

165 td and 141 int is Troy still means nothing the game was different then and everyone has got better cant go off statistics from almost 2 decades ago. If you actually thought about it and knew football you would understand that to. And the season for football is longer so romo should have much much better stat

Even the ex coaches and former players on sports talk shows are seeing the biggest problem is garrett and I will agree with them.

Not saying he isn't what and I'm not saying romo isn't good either. I'm saying that romo isn't doin one of the biggest parts of bein a QB and that is keepin the offensive line together as a team it looks good at first and they do well then they jus get less organized as the game goes on. They either need to try a different QB in one game to see if they do better with that QB and honestly romo probably would b better if he had a different offensive line but no team will get rid of a whole offensive line cuz the QB doesn't work well with them. And romo still hasn't learned what throws he can do accurately and that is y he has so many interceptions yea not as much as Troy but like I said games changed troys time was won by force and the game now has to b won by accuracy and skill

And honestly yea cowboys should've won the game with the giants but romo messed up way to much. Eli played like shit but romo kept giving them the ball

the only reason we lost was because dez didn't bring his hand down in a fist

I sure miss Troy Aikman, bring on Sam Bradford!  The next Troy Aikman

I have to seriously disagree.  I'm not sure how old you are, but I watched every snap Troy Aikman took (true he had Emmitt Smith - first time hall of fame candidate), but he could throw a bomb or a screen pass.  Homo is horrible.  Maybe watch some tape.

He needs more training to make long passes .Because he don't do nothing anymore

His stat's are decent but he blows it in clutch situations.  There's not a statistic that I know of for blown plays in clutch situations but that's my beef with Romo.

I wonder how clutch Tom Brady would be with Jason Garrett calling his plays or standing behind this Oline and players dropping passes like ours do with so much frequency.

Romo has less INT than Troy, more TDs than Troy, higher TD/INT ratio than Troy, more 4th comebacks that Troy. Romo accomplishes this without the Pro bowl & hall of fame players and proven coaches that surrounded Troy

I heard: "stats, stats, personnel, personnel... yeah he blows it in clutches.  But stat..."

Comebacks aren't something to necessarily tout.  They are an unnecessary byproduct of winning.  You would have to make a ratio of failed come backs to successful comebacks to make a relevant point.  But generally a loss is a loss and comebacks aren't a relevant measure of success.

Since making a comeback, being substantially behind in score and coming back to win, isn't a statistic I readily have available I can't start naming quarterbacks do so.  Clutch quarterbacks regularly don't blow pivotal plays, not that other players on the team won't but they themselves don't.  Having said that I can state my opinion that Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady generally win without getting behind and don't need to make drastic comebacks but are clutch quarterbacks because they regularly perform well in pivotal situations.

No, Tom Brady and Rodgers don't need to make substantial comebacks, not because of their clutchness, but because they have weapons that step up on crucial plays, oline that protects them and don't get holding and false start calls on 3 and short. They have coaches that knows how to strategize and handle situational coaching. They have a defense that don't work against them. They are not in a situation where they have to not only outplay their opponent, but also their own teams deficiencies. Where Romo basically have to work miracles every game those guys don't and I'm very sure Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Brady would not trade anything on their teams for what Romo has. They all have better coaches, better defenses, better running game etc etc. Now my point is, all that plays a factor in a qb being clutch. Romo has more things working against him than for him with this team. I would love to see him with a team that actually had some hungry, productive and disciplined talent around him and a coach that actually knew what he was doing.

Romo is burning out, that's plain to see. Any QB would that is in a consistently negative situation. It happened to Archie Manning and others.

For not having half of their starting defense and DALLAS still having a chance to win the NFC east says alot about Tony romo, especially his stats over the last 6 games..... enough said...

he does not know how to play football for crap........

I still ride wit cha Tony..But only cause you rock THA STAR!! Go COWBOYS!!!

Even with no oline, inconsistent performance at WR, a weak Dline, your NT has begging to go back to DE, a head coach that is an organizer but not a strategist, you can't stop the run, you can't get pressure on the QB, and you think, ooooh let's say we get a Tom Brady type, and these areas, which have nothing to do with a QB, will just be better? Tony is the only weapon on this team. Here's a stat: 35 points in the 1st qtr and 162 points in the 4th for the whole season. Says to me that your head coach comes in every game with the wrong strategy and your QB has had to take over and fight his ass off just to get a chance to win, all the while trying to outscore what your defense is giving up. By the way, that 162 is the 5th highest 4th qtr scoring in NFL history. Stop sending the guy out there with one arm tired behind his back and give him the same stuff Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady & Drew Brees got. Those guys would never trade places with Tony and come to Dallas with this garbage of a cast.

Uhhh. There was only two QBs last year that had fewer ints than Tony... Rodgers and Alex Smith and he had one of the best year historically for a QB .... explain why the cowboys couldn't capitalize on that. But you didn't answer my question.

Tony is running for his life... The offensive line is terrible most of the time so he is not able to do a lot of the called plays. Yes he did make some bad interceptions But, he has won a lot of games that the "star quarterbacks" couldn't do because of sher ability... Say what u want about him. But considering the coaching and the meddling owner... (good business man though).. He had to improvise a lot.. And has done well...

He's not the whole team people... Defense was hurt a lot, offensive line-once again - was not good receivers hurt.. Demarco Murry gets hurt for a good 4-5 games in a row... A lot of things have to go right... A day that hasn't happened for Dallas to show the talent if they were all healthy...

+Doug Schloneger 100%... None of the "elite" QBs have to overcome so many team/staff deficiencies like Tony does. If he can put up 4-5000 yards, 30+ tds and 8-9 wins with this team, just imagine what he could do with a solid line, good play calling, good defense and a running game... The stuff that those "elite" QBs have.

Troy Aikman would kick Jerrys office door in if he had to deal with the nonsense Tony does. And Troy did do that on a couple occasions.

People that really know football know what we are saying is true.... Just imagine if everyone was healthy.. I think the team maybe with the exception of some tweeks on the offensive line could be in the closet to the team of the Cowboys in the 90's... Well... And also a more stricter and disciplined coach..

Stats and Shit have 2 letters in common - and I is the 9th letter in the alphabet- none of those are shared with  the letters in Week 18. How many more years are fans willing to accept a Fantasy QB over a Playoff QB? Jerry knows, and soon we will too...The Cowboys have officially started the 2013 season as another Phoney Romo story...

Ima die hard cowboys fan but romo needs to go

For anyone who thinks romp sucks and he should fired, your wrong. Romo needs a front line and if we had a line,we'd be going to the playoffs almost every year.

untill u can do what he does u should not be talking

people say "he chokes to much'' but he's  good
RON B

Yeah its all romo fault. Not that crap line minus smith . Not loser ogletree runnin the wrong route yeah all tony n yes, he makss some mistakes but come on. Luv tony.

25 greatest Cowboys right? Why is this fool in the pic?  How about his top 25 let downs instead???

Todd wells man it was definitely in the top 10. His first start he set record 10 catches for 250yds. Yes sir . But I have no idea what happened with him

Romo is a great QB. He just don't understand that he can throw the ball away instead of the ints.. Take the sack protect the ball. And fire up defense

Arturo Carter I agree. We will never see post season victory until our Defense is IN THE GAME
