So here is a restaurant that we proudly take friends and family to when they are visiting the Heber Valley. Dairy Keen is locally owned and operated by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Over the past years, I have tried several of their meal options but I always end up going back to the gold ol' Train Burger and a root beer freeze. Keep up the great work.

Another standard fat food joint. Stopped here to try their shakes because of the reviews but I wasn't impressed. Shakes are soft serve ice cream with syrup. I expect hard serve ice cream for a six dollar "premium shake." The strawberries tasted like they came from a jar of preserves. The mint shake was smooth, but nothing more than mint flavoring added to more soft serve. I really enjoyed the fish, but the fries were average. Onion rings were good and crunchy. Atmosphere is nice and comfortable, very family friendly and overall enjoyable.

I have had delicious shakes from Dairy Keen in the past, but my last visit was to order from their gluten-free menu. As a recently diagnosed celiac, eating away from home has suddenly become a scary thing. I haven’t dared try anything from a fast food restaurant, so I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the internet to see if Dairy Keen had a gluten free menu. And yes…yes they do! For the first time in over two months, I had a hamburger with a bun, sweet potato fries, and a shake. Every bite was tasty, and what made it even better was the fact that I didn’t have any problems. A big THANK YOU to Dairy Keen for their willingness to cater to people with food allergies. I visit Heber on a regular basis, and it’s nice to know I will always have a place to eat!

Food was good. I had the Swiss bacon guacamole burger. Price was a little high. A person I went with was unhappy with the club sandwich they got(Sandwich did not look to great). The inside was nice and clean. Trains was cool for kids. The shake was good it was the Mint Oreo. The total was $18, for a sandwich, burger, large fries and a shake.

Very great atmosphere, Family-Friendly (even babies), Harry potter train, amazing food, unique shakes. Toddlers and kids can play with a Lego-table while waiting for food (during!) and there's a train driving around above you the whole time! If it's very busy, you might not be so thrilled with what you get. I went here for 3 recent lunches and everything was off (the fish burger was cold, the burger was all messy and cockeyed, a lot of waiting for cold stuff that should've been piping hot). I've now left here feeling ripped-off and angry. For $10 I want a nice lunch. Going elsewhere from now on....

Well I have to admit, disappointed is the nicest way to explain how my visit to this fast food joint went. I had heard it was a great place to eat at if you were passing through or stopping by the beautiful town of Heber. With all of the fancy awards on the wall, I was excited to dig in and have a delicious, fulfilling lunch/dinner...boy was I in for a surprise. First and foremost, the cashier sat there staring at us, never offered a suggestion or even so much as a greeting. I dismissed this because she was young and I read they pay their employees below minimum wage which is ridiculous. I decided on their bacon ranch burger 1/2 lb at 6.99, expensive right? Well if it comes with fries and a drink....oh wait NOPE 3$ more for a medium drink and a small fry...ouch that hurt my wallet. After my wife ordered it came to $20!! Now normally when we go to burger supreme, I know its going to be expensive, but its worth it so I assumed this would be a similar experience. We also ordered 1 cookie dough shake and 1 Reese's shake, $5 each... I assumed these would be homemade ice cream hard serve and very good. Also these were separate from the 20$ we already paid, so it came out to 30$. Ok so here we go... There was no flavor to the meat AT ALL. My cheese was literally one slice of kraft processed plastic wrapped cheese, a nasty looking tomato and 3 pieces of bacon fried with the rest of the fried foods leaving an awful taste(they need to clean the oil) and some decent bread that was unfortunately falling apart. My wife enjoyed here small chicken strips but there needed to be bigger portions at that cost...I mean there's a McDonald's being refinished right across the way and for 30$ I can buy a feast that tastes way better and I hate McDonalds food usually. Anyway the fries were mediocre, small portions. Their fry sauce wasn't fresh and it tasted like bad relish and ketchup. As you could probably already tell, the food sucked! Don't waste your money! Now on to the shakes, if I wanted a soft serve shake with syrup and 1 Reese's cup in it I would have just gone to McDonalds and spent 3$ for a bigger size. Boy this place is a disappointment, I hope that at some point the food was really as good as the awards claim it to be otherwise the people rating the small businesses in the area need to be canned. Cool train ....thats about it. AVOID!!!

We were referred here by a local since were from salt lake and only working in heber by a fellow tile worker on a new construction home he said the food was good and at a fair price and i have to agree me my father and one of our employees all ate combo meals one a train burger small combo and 2 double cheese 1/2 pound burger combos with bacon for 24 bucks (which would of been easily 35 bucks on up in salt lake in a small family owned burger shop) and the burgers were juicy and tasty, the environment was clean and the kids who were eating in there with there family's enjoyed the model train and surroundings and the service was fast as well as the staff saying "thank you for coming in please come see us again" when we were leaving which is unheard of in salt lake a nice small town feel to it we will definitely stop in again
