Another standard fat food joint. Stopped here to try their shakes because of the reviews but I wasn't impressed. Shakes are soft serve ice cream with syrup. I expect hard serve ice cream for a six dollar "premium shake." The strawberries tasted like they came from a jar of preserves. The mint shake was smooth, but nothing more than mint flavoring added to more soft serve. I really enjoyed the fish, but the fries were average. Onion rings were good and crunchy. Atmosphere is nice and comfortable, very family friendly and overall enjoyable.

Most of my family and myself live in Roosevelt, Utah, and Heber City is a go through town on our way to Salt Lake City shopping, doctors visits and entertainment events. Heber is not a go through town when it comes to lunch or dinner, it is a destination place. The Train Place is our food stop. Since about half of our family is gluten free it is a rare experience for us to be able to order a burger and fries and enjoy our food. I am so grateful for your wonderful gluten free burgers I just had to let you know. Thanks for helping those of us with wheat issues enjoy a fun time in your restaurant.

Thanks for such a kind review. If you didn't know, two of our owners have Celiacs so we understand how important a great gluten free meal can be to those who cannot have it. We always say thank you to our guests because it is you who make us a destination. Thanks again!

Came here for the first time today. Had a great spicy guac chicken, fries, and a drink - all very good. What really impressed me was the gluten free focus-my wife and daughter eat gluten free and the owners (one of whom has celiac) have created an amazing gluten free offering. This is a great example of how a local food place can offer substantially more than a chain. Well done! Very busy place to eat on a sat afternoon.

Thanks for the praise about small family businesses. That is our goal is helping our friends and family in any way we can and Gluten intolerance effects so many including our own. Thanks for stopping by and leaving this great review.

We were referred here by a local since were from salt lake and only working in heber by a fellow tile worker on a new construction home he said the food was good and at a fair price and i have to agree me my father and one of our employees all ate combo meals one a train burger small combo and 2 double cheese 1/2 pound burger combos with bacon for 24 bucks (which would of been easily 35 bucks on up in salt lake in a small family owned burger shop) and the burgers were juicy and tasty, the environment was clean and the kids who were eating in there with there family's enjoyed the model train and surroundings and the service was fast as well as the staff saying "thank you for coming in please come see us again" when we were leaving which is unheard of in salt lake a nice small town feel to it we will definitely stop in again

Food was good. I had the Swiss bacon guacamole burger. Price was a little high. A person I went with was unhappy with the club sandwich they got(Sandwich did not look to great). The inside was nice and clean. Trains was cool for kids. The shake was good it was the Mint Oreo. The total was $18, for a sandwich, burger, large fries and a shake.

Burger was good but it seemed pre-made and a little cold. This wasn't my first time here but I will keep coming back.
