It was the Nurse who spoke to the hoax team, not the receptionist.
Truly shocking, that is so bad! The poor DJs must be feeling terrible although it was not their fault. Such a tragic loss of life.
What a damn shame.  It amazes me what some people call entertainment - media pranks like this can obviously do more harm than good, although no one will admit it to any wrongdoing.  Grow up, world.
When that prank was played, no thought was given to the fragility of anyone else involved. This world is cruel & people don't nurture & look after each other enough. Sad times we live in, despite all the knowledge we have at our finger tips...another beautiful life gone under needless pressure.
A tragedy indeed. I read a lot of people blaming the Dj's which I find very wrong. Prank calls are not illegal and happen all over the globe. This was an Australian radio station, listened to by people in Australia. If the big international media companies did not publish and play the prank audio, nobody would have heard it. Maybe, she reacted to the response she received from hospital management.
