The Magistrate covered his butt thoroughly, so i could see it coming. I did not think he had a good sense of the meaning of JUSTICE. Women continue to be abused not only by men, but also by the courts. The severity of the crime commited was not even taken into account, despite his more than 90 minutes dissection of law and the case. Outrageous to me +Angela Ghuman

I also knew-sensed-it. They are totally irresponsible and biased. Male chauvinism.

He got bail because he's not a risk Raj ...and won't escape ...people mistake bail with a sentence and therefore feel justice hasn't been done because he's on the streets.....the case is ongoing and justice will come later...just because he got bail doesnt mean he has got away with the crime he committed....!!!!

Of course he wont get away from jail. But giving him some liberty now, after such heinous crime sends a bad precedent +Angela Ghuman . They look incompetent and stupid.

+Rob Fig whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

In my opinion he is absolutely guilty. He killed her, that is unquestionable. The severity of the assassination is such that he should have stayed in Jail. The only thing in -real-question is the degree of his murderous actions. Even he knows he is guilty of a crime. +Rob Sankey & +Angela Ghuman

Must of thought he wouldnt do a runner!

This case has got farce written all over it. It's going to get dragged out with constant excuses from his defence team, and making the South African judicial system a laughing stock. And after all that he will be found innocent even though he's obviously guilty.

Let's face it; even if we were to be believe that he shot at 'an intruder' 4 times, I would suggest that this shows he is a dangerous man and should remain in custody for everyone's safety!

+Richard Brown . There is NO way for him to escape a jail term even in KSA. The question is whether they would give him 15-25 years in jail or life. I am already disappointed at the justice system in KSA.

Would he be in one of those cushy cells because he's famous or will they treat him like scum?

Wherever he goes he will be shunned, scorned and rejected for what he did, he is toast. +24publishing

+Rob Fig At least that's something the poor murdered girl's family and friends will be able to count on then.

Yes, he will pay. I think his penalty should be severe, accident or not. +24publishing . I am quite angry with him. Reeva was such bright young woman.

KSA? Thought this happened in South Africa?

He is guilty of murder but not premeditated. I think he will have a suspended sentence...probably time, less than 5 years though . Crime in SA is too high.. This intruder issue is an.everyday thing. The intruders are usually armed and are not afraid to kill. I believe this guy, and I believe what happened was a terrible mistake... I am a victim of house breaking and I think I would have probably have thought of my safety before anything else.
