After terminating my agreement early due to it poor performance and my account managers constant request to increase my AdWords budget and therefore the management fee, 'in order for him to get things working'; I queried the final invoice amount. It was at this point I was told that the accounts department doesn't make mistakes (Jayme Dixon, who strangely has also left a five star review below). Following further queries and questioning of their billing and payment method, I was threatened that if I didn't pay, credit agencies would be informed and that the queried amount of £100 + VAT would be passed across to a debt collection agency. I continued to dispute this, all along stating that I would be honouring the agreement, I was purely disputing a single charge of £100 + VAT. On the last correspondence I've had from Nige Dixon (Director), he bluntly said I was wasting his time and that he looks forward to receiving cleared funds. A truly charming organisation that, at least in my case has, over promised and under-delivered. The amazing thing is at no point did anyone from DPOM ask me why I was leaving or for an opportunity correct the issues. I'll be paying the full amount that DPOM have invoiced me (£500+), purely because I can't be dealing with the threats and tone I have received. But please be aware that although you have to pay, for your Adwords management fees, in advance (up front), your bills are calculated in arrears (on the previous months spend). I.e I paid March through to October at the start of the month (period) and then terminated my agreement at the end of the Oct period (before November payment was was due). Expected to pay the following four months based on a zero Adwords spend, charged at £100 per month period. To find out that I then had to pay for Octobers period in full again (£200 + VAT) again in the November. DPOM have managed my account for 8 months and want me to make 9 payments at £200 + VAT and 3 at £100 + VAT.

We are sorry you feel this way. We take pride in offering an exceptional service to our customers - and our reviews on independent review site, Feefo demonstrate we're succeeding. Firstly, let’s address your comments that you terminated your agreement early due to its poor performance. Performance was actually good and getting better, in fact early on you left us a four-star review on Feefo! To substantiate this, the following are performance figures which are available to you in your AdWords account when you log in, so you don’t have to take just our word for it. We have reduced CPC (Cost per click) by 70% We have Increased traffic from ads by 900% We have increased conversions by 450% We have Decreased cost per conversion by 52% Due to the short time you were with us, I’d say the account was doing very well. At no time did you attempt to discuss any issues with us, and you simply revoked our access from AdWords without saying a word. You then refused to pay invoices unless discounted and at that stage threatened to leave a bad review to blackmail us. We explained four times, step by step in writing, that the invoicing was correct. You still wouldn’t accept it and therefore left the poor review. Our contract terms are very clear - over 100 customers have no problem with it. You, in fact, never raised any concerns until 8 months after signing. When we send a quotation, it clearly lists our payment terms and provides detailed information on what you should expect. We take pride in having clear agreements and good communication with customers - perhaps this is why we have 40 5 star reviews on the independent review site, Feefo. Indeed, many customers comment on how transparent and efficient our service is. In addition to the above, you previously called our office and was exceptionally rude to our receptionist. After listening to the playback of the recording we were very disappointed and concerned which is why, from then on, we insisted on written communication only - It's a shame your organisation does business in this manner. As a professional organisation, we are committed to ensuring our staff are not subjected to this type of behaviour and we take this very seriously. In summary - the threat of this review appeared in your first contact when querying an invoice. After over a week of communicating with you with a view to resolving your concerns which you reciprocated by being very rude to a member of our staff (who had nothing to do with the situation,) we are, unfortunately, not surprised to learn of this review. Nethertheless, we regret our relationship didn't work out and wish you well in the future.

"We have recently had a new website built by DP Online Marketing. When searching for a company to produce a site for us we chose DP because of their professional yet non pushy approach. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the brief we gave them was adhered to perfectly and any changes we asked for made promptly and effectively. They were always there no matter how many questions we asked them, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our website does everything we wanted it to and much more. We followed advice and suggestions from the team and they were absolutely right on guiding us with the way forward. When the website went live the feedback was 100% positive and our customers are extremely happy. We are already seeing an increase in sales despite it being at such an early stage. As an ecommerce site we rely solely on our website as the face of our business so it was extremely important that everything was done correctly. It`s a stressful time making changes like this in your business so we feel having a company you can put your trust in is essential and we found DP Marketing to be a pleasure to work with. We not only felt they were working for us, but actually with us. We will continue to undertake more of the services they offer as our business progresses and cannot express enough our gratitude to them and our recommendation of them as a company."
